I'm 14,so cuz i have this butt-length hair (parents are indian) super-thick,mom is superr-obsessed having my hair neat,she says I'm supposed to look NEAT :-(((( ,so she drives me crazyyy,I have to have hair off the face all the time, she makes me wear ponytails (one or two) or worst 2 superr-tight french braids....and this whenever I step outside home ! I HATE TO SEE HER COMING OVER WITh THAT BRUSH AND PONYTAIL HOLDERS !!

Cut your hair to around shoulder length or shorter, you can't have a pony tail if there isn't enough hair to put in one.

in the mornings before you go to school pull it back in a neat pony tail, or lose but still neat braid then you get to school go to the bath room and fix it how you'd like it, then at the end of the day go back to the bath room and put it back in that ponytail/braid. or if it has to be out of your face put a head band it in. but don't cut it behind your mothers back, i use to have hair to my butt too and i cut it off to my shoulders with out my mom knowing. should have seen her face when she saw what i did to my hair.. i donated it to locks of love but from the second it was cut off i wanted it all back so badly. its been short since jan and i still want it back.

Oh man! LOL. Your mom loves you %26amp; she knows you're very pretty as well as your hair. I agree with Nichole here, fix it how you want to when you are not in the home.... BUT..... you need to have a heart-to-heart talk with your mom. Im sure that she is not aware that she is embarassing you %26amp; she does not know that this is really bothering you. Please dont yell at her, just stern talking. Oh, out of respect, talk about this in private.

Get your hair cut. If you cant then start doing your own hair in the morning just throw it back into a ponytail.
