Are there any ways that I could straighten my hair without chemicals --shampoo, perms---, or heat?

I have the type of curly hair where I can't get a brush through it without some kind of pain.

Are there any ways that I could straighten my hair without chemicals --shampoo, perms---, or heat?

Are there any ways that I could straighten my hair without chemicals --shampoo, perms---, or heat?

no.

Are there any ways that I could straighten my hair without chemicals --shampoo, perms---, or heat?

Use a straightner, its only temporary. Otherwise you would have to get a relaxer... which depending on your hair it may not take all the wave/curl out of your hair.

Are there any ways that I could straighten my hair without chemicals --shampoo, perms---, or heat?

for your type of hair, there isn't a way to get it straight without the use of flat irons, blow dryers, or perms. But one thing you could do is to enjoy the curls... search the internet for cool hairstyles for your hair type! good lucK!

Doesn't everyone want to straighten without heat? There's this straightening balm from Frederic Fekkai. You just need a blow dryer and a brush...

My hair began falling out about two years ago.?

Everyday shampooing and brushing leaves me with clumps of hair in my hands or on the floor. My hair is natrually curly and I only straighten it 1-2 times a month because i dont want to further damage it. I have never dyed my hair so I dont know why it is falling out. People keep telling me im stressed but im really not. I need answers, my hair used to be so thick and pretty now its just frizzy and lifeless. My father is mexican so u can imagine how thick it was. I dont have any bald spots yet or anything but i want to keep it that way! Please help!

My hair began falling out about two years ago.?

Are you underweight? Have you had your Thyroid Levels checked lately?

My hair began falling out about two years ago.?

Check your diet, eating habits, prescription drugs sometime have side effects causing hair loss.

My hair began falling out about two years ago.?

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

im not gay i just love to brush and play with womans hair its not wrong to do it if her hair smells good and feels soft i will love to do it.

I like to play with womans hair its fun to me i love to play with long hair and short hair woman i am not gay?

What is your question? Are you wondering if its weird that you like to play with women's hair but you're not gay?

If that's your question, no, its not weird at all. Do you like actually styling the hair? Because then maybe you should be a hairdresser. My hairdresser is a man, and he's definitely not gay. His wife works with him at his salon.

If you don't like to actually style hair and just like to play with girls' hair, then no, that's not weird either. You're not gay, so that means you like girls, and hair just might be the part of a girl that you're really attracted to.

It's not weird, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!!

I like to play with womans hair its fun to me i love to play with long hair and short hair woman i am not gay?

There is nothing Gay about a man that loves everything about a woman, including her hair. Some of the Very BEST hairdressers are non-gay men. They get all the ladies.

There`s nothing gay about that, you just have a very special gift. I think someday you will be a great stylist. Oh, and when you`re famous with your own HUGE chain of salons, give me a call so you can do my hair. :-) !!!

I like to play with womans hair its fun to me i love to play with long hair and short hair woman i am not gay?

I love for my hair to be played with like light rubbing and scratching but i just cant get my baby to do that!!!

I like to play with womans hair its fun to me i love to play with long hair and short hair woman i am not gay?

nothing wrong with that. unless it's hair from somewhere else!!!

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS IF YOU'RE GOING TO ANSWER, SORRY IT'S LONG.

im serious, im losing like a LOT of hair. i went to the doctor (cosmetologist, or whatever it's called) and as soon as i told her that i'm losing hair she kinda laughed and i could tell she wasn't taking me seriously. she just told me it's stress (after looking at my hair). she said it would stop in a month or so.

it's been like more than 6 months since i first started losing hair. i don't look like im losing hair. i don't have any bald patches or any area of my head that is thinning more than the others. every time im brushing a lot of hair is in it, and in the shower even more falls out. i used to have a lot more hair, though i still have a natural amount. every time i reach and gently grab the bottom of my hair and pull out the hair that fell out already, i get a pretty thick strand. it's REALLY scaring me!

please help, thanks for your patience!

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

Get a second opinion if you're worried. Also remember that most people lose something like 100 hairs a day anyway.

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

Do you wear your hair up a lot? Because if so, your hair will naturally shed, but since it's all tied up, by the time you run your hands through your hair or shower, it's all in clump and appears that you've lost more hair than normal. Understand? Report It

do you have any other noticeable medical symptoms, i don't know check out lime disease or lupus if u have other symptoms pertaining to this, try and relax stressing wouldn't make it better probably worse, i hope you will be ok soon.

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

i have a lot of hair that i seem to be shedding a lot to...donno y prob like she said stress and possibly its to much brushing, or chemicals being used on it.. or just getting rid of older hairs allowing new ones to grow in..

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

Hormones, stress, and environment are all causing you to lose hair. Don't wash your hair everyday or blow dry it or curl it. Leave it be. If you have alot of stress going on in your life see about removing the stressors. Your hair will grow back. If you are really upset about it see your physician. He or she may be able to recommend other options for you.

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

if you already went to the doctor then you, should have listened to what they told you! the average human loses about 200 hairs a day! that's a lot! but it's always being replaced so you shouldn't be too worried.

You can take folic acid, which promotes healthy hair and nail growth. Also, eat a more balanced diet and try to avoid stress. Stress on your hair - such as curling and blow drying also is good to avoid.

I used to have really thick hair when I was younger, and then around 16 or 17 it relaly thinned out. I thought i was gonna go bald too, but I didn't and now I'm fine. I think you will be too! :)

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

u can buy some anti-breakage treatment shampoo and conditioner that would probably take care of that

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

You need to go to your regular physician and a dermatologist ASAP. Stress can cause physical harm but this sounds much more drastic. The cosmologist was very unprofessional and I really recommend not going to her again. I hope you find out what's going on and can find a remedy.

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

see a real doctor and ask about a condition called alopecia

http://www.skinstreet.net/alopecia.html

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

Normally, you should lose 50-100 hairs per day, but it sounds like you're losing a lot more. The best advice is to see another doctor because that one just isn't working. It is less common for teens to have such problems, but here are some causes:

Endocrine (hormonal) conditions, such as uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid disease, can interfere with hair production and cause hair loss. People with kidney and liver diseases and lupus can also lose hair. The hormone imbalance that occurs in polycystic ovary syndrome can cause hair loss in teen girls as well as adult women. Also, an skin autoimmune disorder called Alopecia areata causes hair loss on the head as well as other places on the body

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

Have you changed your diet recently. You should ask your mom or see your doctor if it's really serious.

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

Go back and see the same doctor. If she sees you've come back twice, she'll take you more seriously. If you go to a new one they'll just do the same.

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

go to a DERMATOLOGIST, he/she is an especialist not only of the skin but hair too... meanwhile change the shampoo you're using to a mild one like johnson's baby shampoo.!!!

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

We naturally lose hair, many hairs, every day. Are you taking any sort of drugs or medications? Some of those can cause hair loss.

I'd try changing shampoo and conditioner, and buy yourself a new hairbrush. Try a brush with wide apart plastic doodads (whatever do you call the part of the brush with all the bristles nowadays, but that are made of plastic?) Do not brush your hair and force the brush through, that tears out hairs. Instead, after washing and conditioning your hair, use a very wide pick type comb, then use a slightly finer comb, then use your brush. By untangling hair with a wide comb, first, you won't yank so much out.

The human head typically loses 100 hairs each day. When you have long hair, that is more noticable than when hair is short. You can read up on hair loss here: http://www.aafp.org/afp/20030701/93.html

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

you may want to go to the doctors again and make sure you dont have cancer, be wise and get that check. and it could be your dying your hair to much that does it.

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

Tell your parents right away to take you to another doctor! Losing hair is not just normal to stress. And I know how scary it is ! Good luck, sweetie!

Can someone please help me (im 14 and losing hair)?

When my son was 14, he ended up with bald spots on his head. The doctor sent him to a specialist to see if his thyroid gland was working properly.

It was, so we were at a loss for a while. I started him on vitamins, and bought a special kind of shampoo from a beauty shop for his hair.

Are you taking zinc pills? I took them once because I lost my sense of smell, and it seemed like my hair was falling out more then normal.

When your body is under a lot of stress, the hair suffers. It takes a lot of protein to produce hair, and if you are going through a growth spurt, this could explain it.

I found out that my son was nervous being home for the first time while his brother got his first job, and he was left alone. He said later that he was twisting at his hair.

Ok, try eating more protein, take vitamins, and remember that most hair loss on a young person rarely last. Don't color you hair, and use mild shampoo. Have your hair trimmed a little shorter, and give your body some time to recover.

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely

I'm currently using the tresseme line of products and it works wonders make my hair tangle free and silky smooth but it dsnt straighten,,what should i do?

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

Professional straightening products would give your hair the best results. Use a thermal or straightening spray after shampooing and towel drying.~~ISO Tamer (smoothing foam gel) the best~~ http://www.isohair.com/products/category...

Sexy Hair Concepts has products as well. ~~Straight Sexy Hair(aerated anti-frizz spray)~~ http://www.sexyhair.com/

(After the spray) Start blow drying it from the roots to the ends.

~~Now for straighter hair...

Then once it's completely dry, take your flat iron and clip the hair out of your way and start working on the most curly/wavy parts in small sections. Usually, that's the (underneath) and then work your way up to the top strands, which work best if saved for last.

Once, you have your way through the worst sections, for a faster job, go through your hair with smaller sections and smooth the rest to blend it together. After your done, don't forget a light holding aerosol hairspray to hold it together or a shine spray. This is the fastest way to straighten hair. I've been a cosmetologist for 12 years. Good Luck... :o)

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

Try Biotouch by Wella or Thermal Straight Shampoo by Biospa.

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

There is no shampoo that will make your hair straight. you can either get a chemical straightening done at a professional salon, or you can get a ceramic straitening iron, very popular now. Available at any beauty supply shop.

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

i have tried using different shampoos %26amp; the only on that i found to any good at all is sunsilk satin straight. it in the purple bottle. u might have to dry ur hair upside down.if that doesnt help any then i dont know what else to tell u except use a hair straightener

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

Well you could get it chemically straightened but then you can only wear it straight (unless you curl it with curlers). If you don't want to go the permanent route, this is what I would do. I have naturally curly hair. I shampoo and condition as normal. When my hair gets towel dry, I use a blow dryer to straighten and dry and then a flat iron (really good ones are at places like Sally's Beauty Supply). I sometimes use a pinch of anti-frizz serum but too much will weigh my hair down. Hope this helps.

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

use a high heat flat iron,

i use a revolon flat iron with different temperatures and i put it on the highest setting.

but try to use John freiedas straightening serum , shampoo conditioners and stuff. its very expensive.

but if you want the same effects but cheaper, Buy products from ZERO FRIZZ

its just like the john fridas

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

Pantene Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner

75% smoother hair. also pantene leave in detangler or conditioner

this is the best stuff, I use all the time and i'm a black women if it can straighten my hair as well as my daughters,it should do wonders for you.It makes your hair smooth and light as a feather.and does not weigh your hair down!!!!try it ,it cant hurt

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

I use "FX: molding wax" and the Infiniti by CONAIR (which is around $40). Be wary of hair straighteners. The best kind (especially if you have naturally curly/wavy hair) is the 100% ceramic hair irons (like Infiniti, it also has a 5 year warenty). If they say ceramic, but not 100% then they are usually ceramic coatings which will peel off leaving the titanium to fry your hair. The trick is to let your hair dry. Aply the hair wax, comb it through, and take the straightener to it. If you want to see the results, look at my myspace pictures, I have a pic of my hair natural and a bunch of it straightened. http://www.myspace.com/bunny_no_hoogle

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

a straightner called the cricket its like an iron but its flat and its ceramic it does not give u dead ends, your hair feels so smooth.

best place to buy is salon depending wich one for your hair type

could be expensive, ask a stylist what one would be best

good luck.

What is the best hair product (as in shampoos,cond,brushes..)out there to make your hair completely straight?

if your straigtening your hair chances are your doing alot of blow drying or ironing and really drying out your hair, I recommend bumble and bumble they have the best hair products i have found. they originate from england so you may not be able to find it everywhere but chances are a local salon will sell it, check out this website to see where a place close to you is and just try the shampoo and conditioner for a week you will feel results after the first use but give it a week.

with healthier hair your hair will be easier to straighten and manage with a hot iron.

Bleached hair help!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ANSWER!!??

I went the the salon and they bleached my hair it truned out pretty good.

They said that bleach absorbs water and it's true whenever i wash my hair it is so hard to brush it takes me aabout 40 minutes and before i got the bleach it only took me 5 minutes, 10 max.!

Will it always be that hard to brusha nd to work with or will it get better over time, if it wil get better how long do you think it will take!!

please help

xxxxx

Bleached hair help!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ANSWER!!??

I'm a big lover of the bleach job. I've been doing it for years. At first it will take a while to brush through. Wash your hair with a gentle shampoo, leave the conditioner in, brush out the tangles (starting at the ends and working your way to the root), then rinse it out, and it should be easier to get through. If you can, leave a deep conditioner on overnight, for a few times a week. It will help your hair. After about a week or two, your hair will be easier to brush. It usually takes me about 2 weeks of really deep conditioning it before it gets it back to a normal texture. You cannot overcondition your hair, so be sure to use a lot of it. Try to find a deeep conditioner that is for dry/damaged hair.

Bleached hair help!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ANSWER!!??

wait for a couple of weeks and it will be okkkkkkkkkkk

Bleached hair help!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ANSWER!!??

Brush your hair with a comb, it causes less damage. If your hair is that bad, you should buy a hairmask, or one of those deep conditioning hair things, they're only around 鎷?

Bleached hair help!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ANSWER!!??

Get a haircut that has layers, so it won't be thick and a little bit thinner so it's easier to brush.

I have fine hair but it started becoming brittle and dry two years ago, I don't blow dry or use

I have fine hair and I take good care of it; I don't blow dry or use harmful products on it, but around two years ago I noticed some really wavey and brittle hairs growing! I didn't care back then because they were unnoticible but now most of the hair starting from my hairline (which started receding BTW) to the top of my head is brittle, sooooooooo dry and lifeless! I tried several conditioners, moisturizing shampoos and the sorts but nothing worked! I went to a salon and the guy there used a bristol brush and a blow dryer on it which made my hair look like the way it used to be (FOR A DAY, it got back to horrible after I washed it the next day) I don't recoginze my hair anymore! any piece of info can be helpful plzzzzz T_T

make sure you get enough calcium and PROTEIN!!!!! They are essential to having healthy hair.

Try vitimans. Prenatal vitimans are good for your hair and nails, and help them grow faster. Even if you are not pregnant you can still take them, I do. It's just like a multivitamin

I have fine hair but it started becoming brittle and dry two years ago, I don't blow dry or use products! HELP

Have you switched your shampoo? Do you have hard water? Hard water has minerals that may be weighing your hair down. You should try getting a conditioning treatment at a salon and finding a leave in conditioner. If your hair line is receding and your hair is thinning i would definitly try Nioxins thinning hair line. You could also try using a clarifying shampoo every week or so and a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for the other days.

I have fine hair but it started becoming brittle and dry two years ago, I don't blow dry or use products! HELP

For getting rid of dead hairs there are a few tips

1.always use egg shampoo

2.shampoo your hair not more than twice a week

3.always massage hair oil an hour before washing your hair

4.for conditioning them apply a spoonfull of mayonniese an hour before applying shampoo

5.after shampooing apply some lemon juice+water on your hair and leave it

6.trim your hair after every 3 months

7.eat more and more green vegetables and fresh fruits

I have fine hair but it started becoming brittle and dry two years ago, I don't blow dry or use products! HELP

Maybe I am late to answer this but I have a question about your age, if you are over 40 then it is very possible that its a hormonal problem, you mention the receding hair. After I strated taking estrogen my hair stopped receding and is actually ever so slowly growing back, It is thicker than ever before. I feel this is at least worth your time to investigate this.

Why is my Golden Retriever chasing his tail and pulling the hair out and eating it? He won't st

My Golden Retriever runs around in circles chasing his tail and pulling the hair out of it. Then he eats it. He seems obsessive about it. We try to get him to play games or calm down but he eventually just goes right back to doing it. He is being fed well, he has lots of toys around and we play with him. This just started about 6 months ago but now he does it like 10 times a day. He does not have fleas (he was just at the vet and has a flea collar and takes Frontline). He is not biting it to scratch it because he is just going for the hair and not the tail. We brush it so there are no knots. He has allergies. He seems to have sensitive skin. But I don't know how to stop this behavior.

Why is my Golden Retriever chasing his tail and pulling the hair out and eating it? He won't stop!?

My dog used to do that too. She'd rip out chunks of fur on her tail until I thought she would have a bald tail! We took her to the vet and asked what we should do and the vet gave us medicated shampoo and conditioner that we have to use about once a month. It helped my dog A LOT and I think you should talk to your vet about it.

Why is my Golden Retriever chasing his tail and pulling the hair out and eating it? He won't stop!?

He may have allergies, my dog does the EXACT same thing and it is because she has allergies. I rub her down with baby oil and that seems to help. Good Luck!

Why is my Golden Retriever chasing his tail and pulling the hair out and eating it? He won't stop!?

You may try getting something that soothes canine skin and putting it on his tail. If it isn't a skin issue, it could be just a bad habit like nail biting. Find something safe but distasteful and put it in the spot so he doesn't want to put it in his mouth! Can't hurt to try!

Why is my Golden Retriever chasing his tail and pulling the hair out and eating it? He won't stop!?

He may have obsession compulsion disorder..

Why is my Golden Retriever chasing his tail and pulling the hair out and eating it? He won't stop!?

Could be hot spots, nervous tick, or another type of an allergy take to the vet before it gets even worse.

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my per

and left curls,like loose ringlets,

now my hair is frizzy but i have gud hair,

just its too annoying too brush or it goes static,

i luv long hair even though ppl have suggested bobs, just dont know what too do wiv it just now.just want something make me luk older.wondering wud a dye brighten it up,i have brown/auburn hair.

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

I have your same hair and face shape, even the same color of hair! Personally I'm growing my hair out way long (think Emmy Rossum off of Phantom of the Opera here) and I put gel and hair mousse in it and diffuse it with a diffuser. It always turns out really pretty, even though it tends to be different everyday! Also, if your have curly hair, if you put it in a braid for the day and let it dry, then when you take it out you have waves like all of the movie stars have been trying to get lately. (Us curly-heads are so lucky) If you put your hair in a ponytail when it's wet so just the hair in the back gets curly, when it's dry you can pin it to your head and you have a fancy updo that others have to work many hours to acheive, and an updo may make you look older, I don't know. (By the way, if I were you I wouldn't dye your hair, it totally kills your locks. Besides, I think you already have probably the most gorgeous hair color just naturally.)

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

hair care tips

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

Use a flatiron on your hair.

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

Why do you want to look old?

Try various styles until you find the one best for you both lookswise %26amp; manageability wise.

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

hmmm well I think the most sophisticated looking hair color is a dark dark brown, (that is rich in color) or jet black. A bob would probably make you look older, but maybe not the kind of old you want. I would suggest that you make it a longer bob, (I have one of those and they look HOOTTT) with longish sideswept bangs. I would straighten the hair, but dont do it everyday, or else it will fall out (i have some experience with that) some days wear it curly in like a pony thing...

I hope I could help.

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

Go to the source that might help! (you should get layerd thats in right now)

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

try a straight cut at the back with layers around your face (as this is an easy cut to manage).Stay clear of short cuts as they will just bounce up and out (nothing to weigh it down ).Maybe a brown semi-permanent colour (don't get permanent it takes alot to remove it)hope that's some help

Hi i have a heart shaped face i think and a small face,i have thick hair,i used too like when my perm grew out

use your fingers, brushes will make it frizzy. Serum will help tame it, use your fingers or a wide toothed comb to style!

Do whatever makes you happy with your hair, it's your hair after all. x

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

Our cat, who adpoted us this winter , has longer hair than our other 2. I have tried to brush her as much as possible, but this is a struggle and now the hair on her back is matted, I`ve tried shampooing her only to have a bigger problem and a sore back as she is a very BIG cat. How can I fix this now and prevent a reoccurance???? Thank you.

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

My cat had the same problem, if they are so bad she wont pull them out her self and you can't brush them out there is only one way to get them out-

Go to the vet or groomer's to get her shaved-my cat is currently shaved.

It will also feel good to her because of the warm weather.

She might look funny for a few months, but it's worth it.

To keep it from coming back, brush her daily and feed her:

Royal Canin HAir ball treatment, it will keep her from coughing up hair balls, from getting dandruff, and from getting mats.

Good luck to you and your kitty!

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

This happened to my rescue yorkie when she was found...her fur was very badly matted. If you can't brush it out then you're going to have to shave/cut the matts out. Then keep good care of it when it grows back in with regular grooming. :)

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

If you can't take him to a groomer, just cut the matts out. It will only look funny for a while, til the spots grow in, but will even out soon enough. Brush him daily to prevent matts in the future. Good luck!

...Pam

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

once it's matted that bad you'll have to carefully cut it out and let it grow back. sometimes cats hair grows thicker and coarser for no reason causing it to mat. as it grows back just ensure you brush it every couple of days and if you find new smaller mats and can't brush them out cut them and soon you'll cat will be looking lovely fluffy and gorgeous!

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

my cat had the same problem, if u dont do something now it will keep getting worse and cats skin is like paper it will tear if you pull on them, or try to groom her too much...take her to the vet/goomers to be shaved, thats what i did, and if her skin is sore you can use an anti biotic cream like neo sporin on her.

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

Since it has gotten really bad and matted, I'd take her to a groomer and let a professional work through it. They can do a better job than you can at home. Then start brushing her every day. Some cats hate having their stomachs brushed - this can be resolved by having the vet or groomer shave their belly every six months or so. My mother-in-law has one that puts up a fight so they have the vet sedate him and shave his belly periodically to keep the mats at bay. But you can't do that on the whole cat, so regular daily brushing as a habit is important before the mats start.

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

Call up a local vet and ask if they can iso your cat and shave him- we do it at work all the time, and the cats feel alot better. When you try to shampoo mats, water only makes it worse.

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

Well when this happened to my cat which is a persian, I resorted to shaving the cat--getting him a lion-cut. We had to do this because his hair was hard to manage. If your kitty's hair is really matty then get her shaved by a pro. And when her hair starts coming back, brush her at least twice a day to avoid the same occurence.

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

Time for a bath and use a detangling shampoo.

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

You have no choice, you have to shave her.

Need help with unmatting our cats` hair.?

you can take your cat to the groomer and they can take care of it for you.. They will totally shave your cat but the hair will grow back shortly. They will also clip the nails as it is a safety hazard to shave or bathe a cat without doing so first. Petsmart usually charges around $45 and you have to have an apointment. but it is well worth it if your cat is matted. If the mats are too close to the skin you will have to take it to a vet and your cat will have to be sedated to be shaved because they will have to cut close to the skin. Do not try and cut the mats out with scissors yourself!! I have seen some people bring in animals where they tried to do it and its so hard to see where the skin is they end up cutting their pets skin also. do whats safest for your cat.

How can I get my tangled hair untangled?

My hair is so tangled, I cant brush it! So please do not tell me ot brush harder. I wash my hair but the day after it is the same tangely mess. Please, I needs a solution and I need it quick.... school picture day is coming up!

How can I get my tangled hair untangled?

when brushing ur hair u should section it off first and start from the ends of the hair gently brushin through to the roots and then take your next section.never start at the roots as doing this may pult strain on the hair and result in a handfull of ur precious locks !!

How can I get my tangled hair untangled?

Use a spray on detangler, section off your hair in small section, starting at the roots gently comb, do not try to comb all the way down to the ends.

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

if i use a brush on or cream facial hair removal does it work right away the first time you use it or do you have to apply it everyday until the hairs are all gone?

any brand suggestion that works the best??

thank you

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

i want to use a upperlip one, i'm going to try sally hansen

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

umm if u use like nair or sumthin like that it should be gone the first time u use it but the hair grows back tho ( =

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

Yeah, it works right away the first time you use it. I've tried a facial cream hair remover it's brand is Gigi and they sell it at Sally's. It's really good. Works in like 3-5 min and it's not expensive. Under $10. Try it.

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

Facial hair removal=Avon's Skin-So-Soft Facial Hair Removal.

Works like a charm.

Leave it on for 8-10 minutes, then Wa-LA, Hair is gone.

The spot where you put it on will feel weird because there is no hair there, but don't worry, and it lasts for a while!

Good Luck!

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

i would use wax, i waxed my eyebrows and it works great! but also if you want to use wax make sure the product you get says facial wax, or facial on the box, because regular wax or even removal cream might cause some crazy bumps or something on my face and that would be horrible. if your trying to wax above you lip, i suggest if the hair isn't to thick bleaching the hair, because removing it will make it grow back thicker, where as the facial hair lightener/ bleach would only lighten it not cause it to grow back thicker!

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

try electrolysis by a CERTIFIED esthetician

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

Aveda Waxing. You can go to an Aveda Salon and they will do it. Aveda even has a gentle wax. I am extremely fair and I can go somewhere afterwards and you cant tell. I think it runs $10-$15

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

Don't want to worry about hair for 6 weeks? Look into something called the Tweeze. It is like a magic wand that makes those hairs disapear and it's only like 20 or 30 dollars. You use it more then once by the way but, look into it if your interested it's definitely worth while.

Facial hair removals, any suggestions?

you have to leave the cream on for a few mintutes

How to make hair frizzy hair look wet and curly?

I have really frizzy dry hair and its naturally curly but after i brush it the curls come out. and i want to use some kind of product that will make it look REALLY curly and wet

How to make hair frizzy hair look wet and curly?

No matter what you put in your hair, the curls will puff out once you brush it.

I use Fructis Fortifying shampoo and conditioner for dry or damaged hair and Fructis Style Smoothing Milk while it's still wet, scrunch it and let it air dry.

The next day (if you're like me and don't want to wash it every day) you can wet it and add a little more Smoothing Milk, scrunch it again and air dry, of course.

How to make hair frizzy hair look wet and curly?

I have curly hair too. Whatever you do, don't brush it. You want to finger style it. When you brush it, it makes is frizz, finger styling will not make it frizz. A good gel that will control your curls and give you that wet look is Joico Ice Gel (it's now called Joico JoiGel Firm).

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

I am trying to grow my hair natural I am in the 1st stage trying to let the relaxer grow out of my hair. However I can't do anything with my hair I can barley comb or brush it. I really want to go natural but I need some help is their something I can buy without chemicals that will make my hair more manageable.

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

11 years now and when it was growing out, I simply went to the hair dresser 1-2xs a month and got a conditoner and my roots were pressed out with a flat iron. I also had to trim my hair about every 4-5 weeks. I could never get a good sense of what my hair texture would actually be until my relaxer was completly gone. When it was, I had tight curls that were cute and droopy when wet, but hard and tangled when dry. It took me YEARS of trial and error before I could find a product that didn't make my hair greasy as hell and that product was miss jessies curly pudding. I use this along with the buttercream and I love the effect. The buttercream, used lighltly, is a great moisturizer. Since shingling with this product ( defined on the website) takes a long damn time and the products are expensive I don't do this too often. During the summer months I may do this every so often or I just slick my hair back into a neat bun using isoplus yellow gel. During the fall and winter I normally straighten my hair with my sedu flat iron ( www.folica.com). This is the world's best flat iron. I even used it when I had a weave for a bit. Natural hair is ALOT of work, but I don't regret it. I can do almost anything with my hair, but it does get in the way of doing things outdoors or exercising. So if your hair is not the texture that you are ok just letting be, or cannot be slicked back into a bun or ponytail, it may not be for you. It all depends on your life style and how much time you have to devote to your hair.

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

it will just be easier if you used a relaxer. Or use a RUSK(this works really well...ask someone in a salon if they know more info)

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

Use a hot comb or flat iron.

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

its better if you just leave the natural thing alone and keep the perm.

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

When going natural your hair is easy to damage so use lots of conditioner. if you want to get rid of the relaxer faster do a vinegar rinse, this will strip out the relaxer you'll have to do it a couple of times, i'm not sure what you mean by no chems but you should get some lusters Pink oil Moisturizer which can be used every day. also pick up a copy of Hype Hair they have styles and products that work for any hair type

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

What texture is your hair? Mine is basically an afro if I don't use a relaxer. No offense but I just can't imagine ever wearing that style.

Why do you want to go natural? I got my hair to grow long by wearing weaves for about 5 months. My hair is the longest it's ever been in my life. I'm anxious to go back to the weaves but it's summer now %26amp; I don't want to wear them that bad. Even with the weaves the weave hair would get matted up %26amp; look crazy but I didn't care. I'd just gather it together %26amp; put it in a bun.

I don't understand why you're trying to find something to do with your hair when you're going for the fro look right? Enjoy the fro or break out the hot comb %26amp; relaxer.

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

The Best thing would be for you to keep wearing the wigs. I would have suggested to keep wearing weave, but u said it was breaking off your hair. so keep wearing the wigs, and make sure your hair is always moist and soft to make it more manageable.use hair oil and grease your scalp. and then once your natural hair grows long enough for you to put in a ponytail, you can cut off the relaxed ends, and show off your gorgeous hair =]

hope it helps

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

Yes there is something you can use it's call Paul Mitchell tea-tree hair shampoo for your hair/and conditioner to. Give yourself hot oil treatment. There is Queen Heleen's in the beauty salon you can buy without having to be a license person. That work for my hair, I have natural hair also, I letting mind grow because I want sista- locks to start with,it's been 4mths nows I have the summer to go through after swimming and all of that beach stuff an fun. So in the fall I will start with the locks.

I need help with my hair I am trying to go natural. I have African American Hair.?

Initially when I went natural, people thought I was crazy. Now, I simply love it, not to mention it is teaching my daughters how to love their natural hair as well. Anyway, I would check out this website that helped me tremendously nappturality.com. It has a wealth of information about going natural. My hair is much longer and healthier; however, it does take a while to get used to. I just chopped my at the time shoulder length hair off into a little afro because your hair is "confused" (if that makes sense) by the two different textures. Sorry, there isn't a magic solution, it just takes time and PATIENCE . . . but, be sure to check out that website it is wonderful!

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

I get some strands in my pony-tail holder at the end of the day, but it gets bad when I brush and wash/condition my hair. What are some causes of this and is there anything I can do to make it stop... or at least make it less?

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

wearing your hair in a pony-tail causes breakage! don't use hair ties they are soooo bad for your hair use a hair clip instead and take b-complex vitamins gently wash your hair with your finger tips not your finger nails using your finger nails causes follicle damage also once a week use a deep conditioner the kind you leave on your hair for 3 minutes or more

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

tell me if you find out i have the same problem

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

I'm thinking maybe Rogaine might help.

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

cut your bloody hair...lol

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

That happens to most everybody. If its a LOT of hair (like more than 10-20 strands when you wash it) then you might want to consider seeing a doctor or something to see what might be causing it. Could be premature hair loss but thats unlikely. Maybe your hairs just getting a little dry due to changing seasons. Hairs been known to be brittle and break when the cold weather starts to set in because artificial heat (ie from car heaters and whatnot) makes your hair dry.

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

ummm...i think everybody's hair does that actually...not just u...u can try to use certain shampoos and conditioners that strengthen ur hair...so less comes out. if its excessive shedding u might wanna go to the doctor cuz it may be sumthin else.

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

I've heard prenatal pills can help make your hair stronger and prevent breakage and shedding.

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

Every hair on your body is programed to grow a certain number of inches. When the hair has grown to its predetermined length the follicle dries up and the hair falls out.

This is a process that is going on every day, and as the hair falls out it starts to grow again, so that the hairs are constantly being replenished. Have you noticed that you have little baby hairs always growing in at the top of you head at the scalp?

Also, women have fluctuating hormones, pregnancy and nursing can really do a number on your hair as well as the onset of puberty and menopause. My hair started to get curly when I hit puberty! When I was pregnant my hair was thick and gorgeous and then fell out when I stopped nursing her!

You can use products like Nioxin that help, but for the most part you just have to deal with it.

If you are losing tons of hair are starting to really worry go talk to you doctor, Iron deficiency and thyroid problems can cause hair loss!

What can I do to make my hair stop shedding?

When you shower/bath in warm water ... the warm water opens all pores in your body ... hair follicles included. After shampooing your hair, apply conditioner and rinse the conditioner out with cool water. I usually turn the shower water on cool ... but it's only advised if you can endure the rapid temperature change. The coolness of the water will close the hair follicles back up again, and thus, will result in a significant reduction of hair loss. Hope this helps you ... :)

My hair feels really horrible?

heya i straighten my hair and i do have split ends and yes sometimes my hair looks ratty if i dont brush it enough but i have another question...my hair feels so dry and my scalp itches alot...is there any thing to calm the itching down (i dont have nits lol) and how can i maybe sooth the ends out?

My hair feels really horrible?

Have you tried a hot oil treatment?

Also, another thing I do once in a while is coat my hair and scalp with conditioner, cover it with a plastic grocery bag (tie it so it's tight) then wrap my head in a towel for 30 minutes so it has a chance to soak in... then wash it out.

My hair feels really horrible?

well if i was you i would go to the hair stylist and cut off my split ends. [ i do that ] and while i m there i would ask her for any products she would recommend

My hair feels really horrible?

well usually when your scalp itches it too dry so try putting in more conditioner (for dry hair) and leaving it in for a while when washing your hair.. cut the split ends off via the hairdressers and try not straightening your hair for a while to give your hair time to recouperate

My hair feels really horrible?

use a better shampoo maybe a conditioning one .

you can buy anywhere.

i recommend loreal elvive nutri-gloss shampoo and contioner's.

they make your hair stronger shinier and softer.

also when your hairs wet use syrum.

then after you've straightened it use the syrum again.

only use on the ends of hair because its an oil to smooth and make your hair less frizz so if u use too much it will make your hair greasy.

x

p.s if u have split ends get them cut it will make so much of a difference.

My hair feels really horrible?

Well for the itching, you probably have dandruff or dry scalp and I suggest using the right Head %26amp; Shoulders formula or using some anti-dandruff products from Neutrogena. And as for the split ends you should probably get a trim if you can, that's the only real way to get rid of them. To prevent them frequently deep-condition you hair if you heat style a lot. But in a pinch try some anti-frizz serum, it may help smooth the split ends a little and keep them from looking too bad.

Can people with straight hair get 360 waves?

Can I get 360 waves if my hair is straight. Because I would really like to start trying to get them but I want to make sure I'm not doing it for nothing. And people say the best hair cut to compliment 360 waves is a low-cut caeser and a razor line. Also what type of brush should I have because my hair is like soft. And what is all the products need to maintain 360 waves like stocking cap etc.

Can people with straight hair get 360 waves?

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

I have a very long haired indoor cat and her hair is everywhere! I bought a Dyson vacuum to assist, sold my old furniture and purchased leather however, I don閳ユ獩 see any difference. I don閳ユ獩 know what to do anymore. I will never give her away but, now I閳ユ獡 seeking all of your assistance and advise.

I try to brush her and she can閳ユ獩 stand. She gets all mad at me and runs away.

Help!

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Take her to the vet and have her strip-clipped. I do this with my cats several times a year. We used to have a "hairy" problem --BUT NO MORE!! The hair will grow back. Your cat will be very beautiful. And when you notice hair shedding again...that's when you'll know to go have kitty shaved again. You can choose how short you want it. We have ours shaved about 1/4 inch. Make sure you tell the vet you want the head, feet, and tail shaved too...or he'll leave the hair long on those parts. **The cat will look silly that way.**

Also--go get yourself some of those Carpet Flick refills. They are the stickiest stuff on the market! Use them by themselves (without the carpet flick unit) and run them over your furniture or wherever hair has acumulated. They are better than any lint roller I've ever had!!!

GOOD LUCK!

GOOD QUESTION!

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Invest in some lint rollers....lots of em.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

yea thts wut i was gonna say

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

My cat likes me to massage him with the sticky rollers that are meant to take hair out of clothes. Not sticky enough to pluck his hair, just the dead hair. He enjoys it, amybe give it a try.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Try brushing her thoroughly everyday, that will help alot

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Dyson = overpriced crap.

Get a Kenmore upright for $299.

Best vacuum I ever bought.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Use an Armour hammer pet deodorizer that also helps the static in pet hair be easily removed with out being it being a problem. as for to try to get the cat to stop shedding good luck my BF and I can not get dressed till we leave the house with out it sticking to us. and I have a short hair cat. other wise try the lint roller on your cat it will get most of the hair of that is dead/loose. You will never cure this problem.,

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

I brush my cats twice a week and that helps a lot.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Get her the best quality food that you can. Nutrition has a lot to do with shedding. Talk to your vet, but Science Diet is probably the way to go if you can't get into the higher priced brands.

You have to get the cat on a regular grooming routine. You just have to do a little at a time. Use a fine toothed comb, it will get the undercoat out better. You don't have to spend all this crazy money on these stupid shedding combs that are metal and hurt the cat anyway (besides it's just a clipper guard off of normal hair clippers on a stick anyhow). I have plenty of success with a 10 cent fine toothed plastic comb.

When I got my cats as kittens , I immediately started them on a regular bathing/grooming routine. They love it now. They wait for me in the bath tub when they know I'm getting ready to take my shower. They also sit still for the blow dryer and purr the whole time they are getting combed. They also only get Science Diet wet food, which ensures that they are getting a high nutritional value in the diet, according to the vet.

So, with time and patience you and your cat will do fine. Just start small. I would definitely change the food though if you aren't giving Science Diet or even Iams. Then just try one or two passes with a comb every couple hours. Then the cat will get used to the feeling of it and become more receptive to grooming.

Good luck to you!

I lose a lot of hair like in the shower and when i straighten my hair why?

im 16 not 50 l0l but neways ....like when i use a comb or a brush theres a lot of hair on it i lose a lot of hair like when the lady in the salon washes my hair theres hair all over her hands

I lose a lot of hair like in the shower and when i straighten my hair why?

Use a heat protector for your hair. Get a good deep conditioner and leave it on your hair for 10 min. when in the shower rinse with cold water. And your hair can be falling out for other reasons like stress, your diet, for over coloring it...the list goes on. Talk to your stylist the next time you go in and ask what you can do to help prevent this from happening.

I lose a lot of hair like in the shower and when i straighten my hair why?

You are killing your hair. I bet if you learn how to read the directions on the bottles you will see that it isn't good to over product your hair. By the time you are 30, your hair will be so thin you will have to wear a wig. Let it be natural for a couple of years. Get it back to its virgin state. Let it get healthy.

I lose a lot of hair like in the shower and when i straighten my hair why?

Maybe it also has a lot to do with stress, and overdying your hair. If your really concerned lose the straighter and see a doctor. You won't have straight hair but at least you'll have hair. Who knows three months from now if you keep going the way you are you could be bald.

I lose a lot of hair like in the shower and when i straighten my hair why?

You are much too young to be using chemicals on your hair. If you are going to a salon to get your hair cut them whoever cuts it should be able to help you.

No, you may not be fifty yet but I bet your hair looks and acts like it because you have damaged it. You are young. Get some professional help and stop abusing your hair.

I lose a lot of hair like in the shower and when i straighten my hair why?

well make sure when straighten ur hair that u maybe put it on low cause u can burn your hair that's what happen to me and have u be in like clorinde or something? and had a perm in ur head?

I lose a lot of hair like in the shower and when i straighten my hair why?

You are way to young to be dying your hair and straightening everyday. Maybe you should be gentle when you wash your head or handle your hair (if you already aren't) You are killing your hair by straightening it everyday! It's no wonder your not already bald!!! Chill with the dying and straightening! If you want your hair straight, get a perm, and if you want it a certain color, get it done professionally and let your hair in on a rest! Everyone forgets it's a living thing too and they tug it, scrub it, dye it, crimp it, curl it, strighten it, chew it, suck on it, over wash it, just give it a break!!!! Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I need help with styling my hair....?

Ok so I want to style my hair so that it is straight....I want to use a boar brush??? (is that what those round brushes are called?) anyways...so i want to use that brush and blowdry my hair...any suggestions on how to use that brush. I know that's a weird question but whenever i try to use it It NEVER works (but my stylist uses it. It always seems to get caught when i twist it. Can anybody give me tips on how to use and make it work???

***also....got any brushes that work the best (round brushes only)....the ones that are good and straghtening your hair

I need help with styling my hair....?

try and make it so that its like facing across, instead of facing up. use it as if you were just brushing your hair out exept slower than usual. i hope this works out for you! :D

I need help with styling my hair....?

boar bristles is what you are looking for. any round brush with boar bristles will work depending on the length of your hair and how much body you want. the more the bigger the brush you need. also you could just buy the exact one your stylish uses from her. or she could tell you where to buy it.

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

I have nice asain hair and its pretty straight but gets wavy when i wake up..

is a flat iron better to use to get it straight?? or should i use a brush %26amp; blow dryer??

I dont want it to look pinstraight but like decently straight and have softends that go inwards a bit

advicee pleaseee yahoo addicts :DD

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

You should use a round brush and blow dryer.

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

You could always wash your hair after waking up to get rid of the waves. Hair stays fresher and you won't need to use those hot tools on your hair :)

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

use both, it really works, but takes time!

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

i would blow dry it with some straightening cream and i guess ur hair doesnt need to use a flat iron so dont do it .. its very damaging...make sure u condition a lot!

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

flat irons burn ur hair worse than a hair dryer would so just dry ur hair in the morning and use a brush and it wont look pin straight like an iron would do

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

Flat irons work, but they leave your hair just a "little" bit wavy.

If that doesn't work, get a wig my dear. ;)

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

just use a flat brush and blow dry it.

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

Well if you don't want it to be completely straight you could use the flat iron for a short amount of time. Blowing drying your hair will work too, and it's less likely to damage your hair.

Getting hair look NATURALLY STRAIGHT??

Using brush and blow dryer are better than ironing your hair.. coz if you'll often use a flat iron, your hair might get dry and look freezy as time goes by.. ohhh by the way you should apply a liss control (Loreal Liss Controll is nice, i use it) on you hair when its still wet before blow drying for a better result..

I have a synthetic one too. and all sheds.. wash it and it looks better. but mine is long and curly and gets really tangled.

My wig is losing hair!?

Buy a new one, or pitch it and wear a hat.

My wig is losing hair!?

Throw the wig in the trash! you are what you are so accept your looks and move on to better things in life then dwelling on your hair!

My wig is losing hair!?

Toss it. It will continue to get worse and worse. Next time, get one with human hair that way you can style it more ways. Only way to use heat on synthetic hair is if the flat iron or curling iron is on the lowest setting possible and the hair is moist. Just a hint. Oh yeah, brush from tips to roots.

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

i resently learned that most of the stuff i do to my hair is not good! i usually wash it everyday, i brush it with a brush when it's wet, usually use a curling or straightening iron, and blow dry it basically every day...IT IS GETTING SOO DRY! if i skip a day of washing, my roots are greasy, but the rest is still very dry..i read this could be from ususing conditioner on my sscap. my hair is naturally wavy and its currently long and layered. im starting to get used to the waves and have stopped curling and straighting(ill save that for special occasions). i probaly have tons of split ends but i love my hair long and i think the long layers are what maeks the waves look good. im afraid if i get it cut too short and keep it wavy, it will look bad. i love my long hair but i dont know what else to do to make it not dry. im also getting dandruff which i heard is from a dry scalp. how can i mosturize my hair and scalp without getting it cut? any suggestions would be most appreciated!! thaxx

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

The only way to get your split ends out is to cut them or they'll cuase more breakage on your hair. For dry hair do the Avocado Deep conditioner i think someone above said something like that. Well anyways you need 1 small jar of mayonnaise and a 1/2 avocado. Then Peel avocado and remove pit. Mix all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl with your hands until it's a consistent green color. Smooth into hair being careful to work it to the ends. Use shower cap or plastic wrap to seal body heat in. Leave on hair for 20 minutes. For deeper conditioning wrap a hot, damp towel around your head over the plastic, or use a hair dryer set to a low to medium heat setting. Go to Sally beauty and get these conditioners they will really help your hair Motions Oil Moisturizer Anti-Breakage Hair Lotion, Nexxus Humectress, Matrix System Biolage etc. And you might need to get a clarifying shampoo and do that once a week. Try to not shampoo your hair so much cuz it dries your hair out even more and do deep conditioning.

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

Use the best natural deep conditioner in the world! are you ready? It's fresh avocado. Mash it and for extra shine add a tablespoon of mayo(yes, mayonaisse). Leave it on for 30 mins. once a week and shampoo as usual. Guaranteed! It always does wonders for my hair.

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

Use Pantene shampoo and conditiioner. It will also help if you dont blow dry it everyday. Just dry it low and cool. Apply Biolage daily hydrators. i think you can only buy it in a salon. It's white and came in a form of spray.

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

vo5 products are really great at deep conditioning! Use a deep conditioner a few days in a row and make sure you wash it all out. Eventually just use them one day a week to keep it healthy. I used to dye my hair fairly often and it helped me go back to managable healthy hair!

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

use Pantene Pro V

Shampoo - 2 minutes

Conditioner - at least 2 or 3 minutes

thats how long you should leave them in

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

I have nearly waist-length hair that is very dry. I use Sunsilk's Hydra TLC hydrating mask. After washing your hair, towel dry it and comb some mask through. Put it up or braid it back and leave it in all day (it'll be a little sticky, so I do this on a day when I home doing chores). The next day, shampoo as usual. My hair is very silky now.

As far as a haircut goes, if you have split ends, they will only travel up the hair shaft, causing more damage. Go to a stylist and ask her how far the splits go. Let her know that you want to keep it long, and she'll help you keep what you can. Really, you have to cut the splits off.

Dry hair help please!! thanx!?

I use a product called CHI Silk Infusion. I use a dime size amount in damp hair before everytime I blow dry and my hair stays really soft and smooth. I don't put it in my roots so I don't know about the dandruff thing, but you could always use a dandruff shampoo and conditioner. Head and Shoulders has come out with a lot of new, fun scents lately.

Cat hair everywhere.?

I have a lovely ragdoll cat but find her fine hair sheds easily and clings to everything. Can anyone suggest a useful gadget for removing it from furnishings etc. I brush her daily but the problem remains.

Cat hair everywhere.?

1. Brush your Ragdoll daily. Longhair cats require regular grooming.

2. Feed a quality diet. Helps eliminate shedding.

3. Get a vacuum cleaner with a small upholstery revolving brush head. These are the BEST. The Kenmore canister vacuums from Sears come with this additional attachment (sometimes included, sometimes an accessory) called the Power Mate Jr. It's awesome.

4. Go to Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond and look for this black rubber brush contraption. It works by static cling and is great for getting of the bulk of hair from the furniture (the Power Mate Jr. will take care of the rest).

5. Brush your cat some more! ;-)

Good luck! Ragdolls are the bomb!

Cat hair everywhere.?

Hope this helps!!!

Cat hair everywhere.?

I have the same problem (5 cats). I find that a lint brush (they have a sort of Velcro surface) works very well.

Cat hair everywhere.?

Sellotape works wonders.

Cat hair everywhere.?

You can buy those sticky roller things + refills from Wilkinsons. They're about 4-5 quid.

Cat hair everywhere.?

Use sticky packing tape.

Cat hair everywhere.?

I had a friend who took her cat outside to brush and comb it daily!

I wouldn't like to be outside when the temperature was around freezing.

You can buy a "sponge" at the pet store and it is around $5. You use it dry. I use that to go over my upholstered furniture, sometimes on their beds between washings, etc. It really picks up the hair well.

Cat hair everywhere.?

I have a Lhasa Apso and the same problem. I've tried all the gadgets listed, but the most effective way to remove the hairs is a damp cloth, or damp your hand and remove the hairs with your fingers.

Cat hair everywhere.?

wrapping cello tape or masking tape around your hand and stroking furniture and clothes works wonders as all hair sticks to your hand. alternatively you can buy lint rollers from most pet shops, which are basically thick rolls of tape on a handle. It is possible to buy refills once you have the the whole thing. these work just as well as the tape on hand trick. but are slightly more refined but as ever refinement comes at a price.

Cat hair everywhere.?

Gerbilfan uses the same as my partner. They work on curtains, clothing and other furnishings.

Cat hair everywhere.?

Buy a cheap big roll of wide masking or package tape. Make a loop (adhesive out) big enough to stick your hand inside and roll across the surface. Also you could mix a small amount of fabric softener with water and lightly spray fabric and carpet to reduce static cling (test to make sure colors won't bleed). It will be easier to vacuum, brush, or roll the hair off.

Cat hair everywhere.?

Use a clothes brush - I used to use one for my cat's bedding, it would remove the majority of the hair.

Cat hair everywhere.?

me too-and her fur is WHITE and my furniture is dark! swifter works great on the floor and I spray static guard on the micro fiber furniture so it helps-but i want it to stay on HER and not fall in the first place. does it shed all year or seasonally?

Cat hair everywhere.?

In uk tesco asda etc sell an ironing tool which is a sticky roller with replacement rollers for 鎷? ish work great for small areas. For carpets and sofas my hubby uses his trainers they work great, with very indented soles. He wears them and basically rubs the hair together it mats and can then be picked up or vacummed easily. How he came across this idea i don't know but as he does all the house work i trust his judgement on this one!!

Cat hair everywhere.?

laser hair removal? And a coat for winter?

Cat hair everywhere.?

there's something called a shreader , don't worry not as bad as it sounds! but its great for brushing out dead hair

Cat hair everywhere.?

I have a very fluffy cat. A damp cloth works well. The rollers with sticky sides work quite well. The vacuum with a motorised head on it works quite well. Giving the carpet a wash every so often also helps.

Cat hair everywhere.?

I use a handheld rechargeable vacuum cleaner.

Cat hair everywhere.?

I have a lovely rubber bristle brush that works great

Suggestions for overnight hair treatments (homemade or store-bought) to maintain/enhance shine, soft

First I'll give you the background info on my hair.

I have pretty much straight hair in good condition except for a couple of split ends. I have really thick, gorgeous hair that is about three inches below my collarbone, and it's the envy of everyone I know. It's layered a little bit mostly in the front with sideswept bangs. I don't have many complaints about my hair; in fact, it looks healthy, shiny, and fantastic (not to brag). This makes me want to preserve the fantabulousity of my hair. I use really high-quality products like Frederick Fekkai, Redken, etc. I blowdry my hair straight with a round brush only once or twice a week, using styling products like shine serum, blow-dry lotion, creams, and occasionally a light and moisturizing gel.

Now that you're well-informed, I'll pose my question. I'm interested in an overnight treatment that I could use once or a few times a week. I'm up for suggestions on homemade treatments (preferably) or store-bought ones to enhance my hair.

Suggestions for overnight hair treatments (homemade or store-bought) to maintain/enhance shine, softness, etc.

Gently heat up some olive oil, (be careful, not too hot!) and apply it with cotton pads to the scalp. Then work it into the rest of the hair; and put it up in a plastic cap to work for either 20 minutes or so; or even overnight. Then, shampoo regularly next morning.

Suggestions for overnight hair treatments (homemade or store-bought) to maintain/enhance shine, softness, etc.

I use RPR brand wash out treatment but i leave it in all day at work (put my hair in a bun) then wash it out the next morning. It works wonders. Try it. This can be done with any treatment once a week and you will notice the differance.

Remedy to fried hair?

i just relaxed my hair. i had super curly hair and im white. now my hair is totally fried. i cant really even brush it. how can i give it some intense moisture? i hear things about mayonaise and avocado but im not sure how you even do that. what other ways are there?

Remedy to fried hair?

K-pak from joico the best treatment on the market voted by stylist # 1 for years. It is a protein treatment which is what hair is made of.Home remedies try beer, eggs, olive oil.Good luck:)

Remedy to fried hair?

Hi,

First thing I would do is the Mayo thing. Just wash your hair and then put mayo directly onto your hair. Yes, Just as it is. Put a towel around your head for 10 minutes then rinse off and rewash your hair. Make sure after you wash your hair that you put an excellent conditioner on your hair. A Solon would have the best conditioner. Next thing I would do is get your hair cut. Get as much damage out of your hair that you can.

Good Luck

Remedy to fried hair?

the first answer is right!! joico is really good

Remedy to fried hair?

Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum is a good place to start. I'm a swimmer so I know a little something about really damaged hair. Look for stuff that advertises "intense" and "use one weekly." Mix and match conditioners too, don't be afraid to use lyk 3 in one shower. (I had to do that after a 4 day outdoor meet when my hair was so shot that it crumbled off at the tips!)

Remedy to fried hair?

Try, washing and conditioning your hair everyday. Also you may want to try using Blue magic hair conditioner to make your hair grow. I also reccommend using "doo gro" for making your hair grow. P.S. Don't relax your hair ANYMORE, unless you wanna risk deep fried hair

Remedy to fried hair?

mayo won't work to my knowledge. Cutting is the only way to eliminate the fried hair I believe. Other than that, give your hair a break, don't use a hair dryer, etc. If anything, you won't make it any worse.

Oh, and there's always hot oil treatments, but I don't know if they actually work. Best of luck.
