My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

My Rott has been itching around her stub %26amp; around her crotch A LOT latley!! she pulls out so much hair its nasty!! then she pukes it up, and its ALL HAIR!! YUCK!! I yell at her, and ive been putting "hydrocortozone" on it (made for dogs, its spray) and it dont help! she has no fleas, ive searched her whole body a few times! gave her a VERY VERY VERY good bath today %26amp; well shes STILL doing it! Anyone got any idea why?

Also, shes shedding SO BAD! Its nasty!! I brushed her with a brush that is made for getting ALL the hair out thats falling off %26amp; then gave her a bath *filled up an ENTIRE grocery bag* and i was COVERED in her hair, as well as the tub! then I brushed her AGAIN %26amp; it wont stop coming out! HELP!!!

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

Dogs are no different than humans when it comes to nutrition.

Avoderm dog food will change that.

You will have a brand new dog in a few weeks after that.

Another brand that is of high quality for your dogs health is Innova.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

Take her to the Vet and have her checked for allergies. This may be a reaction to something in her food or environment.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

if her hair is falling out is she is extremely itchy she has food allergies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stop buying dog food at petco find a healthy pet food supplier and talk to your vet

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

It may be a diet related allergy. You may want to try changing her food to something different. This may help some. IT could also be dry skin. Try adding a little dab of plain non flavored yogurt to her food and a little bit a fish or vegetable oil. This may help a little as fish oil is actually an antiinflamitory supplement. This just may help. But if nothing changed after a couple of weeks i would take her to the vet. It may be something diet alone can't solve.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

Put her on Juice Plus for Dogs and get her 9.5 ph water called Essentia and treat her for parasites.

Sometimes you can't tell they have parasites internally, even with testing but if you do the above things, you'll be pleased.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

take her to the vet and get some advice and get her checked up.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

Dogs are prone to do these types of actions around their tail if they have not been able to pop thier anal glands. Take it and have a groomer / vet do that and see if it helps.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

I would recommend that you take her to the vet, it could be allergies or it could be her anal glands. I would definately schedule a vet appointment to have your pet diagnosed and properly treated. Good Luck.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

She needs to see a vet ASAP.

My Rott keeps pulling hair out of her butt?

Well how about taking her to the vet? Could well be anal gland impaction - very sore.

Don't yell at her, she's got an itch and is uncomfortable, she's not doing anything wrong!! Also it's not advisable to put any form of medication on an animal if you don't know what you're treating. Go to a vet.

What vitamins can I take to help prevent hair loss?

Loss of hair...??

Lately I've been experiencing some hairloss when i shower and brush or run my fingers through my hair. I don't pull my hair or anything, but quite a bit comes out when I do. I sometimes dye my hair, but haven't in a long time.....so what could it be....and no hairloss doesn't run in my family....my gma mom, dad ect. all have good hair and thick...like mine

Loss of hair...??

Lesson one never dye your hair the chemicals make the hair thin and can damage the roots. Check your diet, make sure it is healthy. Check your exercise, get some. At certain times throughout our life we do loose hair, might be a hormone imbalance.

Loss of hair...??

Don't worry we all lose hair constantly. The longer your hair is the more you notice the strands. Short hair tends to go straight down the drain hole and is not noticed.

Loss of hair...??

For prevention of hair loss, herbs have been promoted. Saw Palmetto, Nettle Root, Gotu Kola and few others not only prevent hair loss in men, but also work on women. Pumpkin seed oil may be used to prevent loss of hair, but its inhibitory action on testosterone is yet to be substantiated.

There are few synthetic drugs as well, besides these natural products, which can enhance hair growth. Hair loss can be treated, but it is advisable to arrest it in early forms itself to have better results of your therapy.

Sweating makes the hair look nicer?

I have a curly hair, its not that curly and it looks good when its either short or long, right now its between and doesn't as good, I noticed that when I finish my hiit sessions the hair looks a lot nicer and its easier to brush, yet when I shampoo and the hair is softer but looks doesn't look as good.

From what I understand watering(even using cold water on it makes it worse than before) or shampooing removes some of the natural oil of the hair, how exactly can I preserve the hair to how it was after the running but before washing it if any?

Sweating makes the hair look nicer?

okay well i know your a guy but honestly my guy friend has the same problem so we went to cvs together and looked for curling shampoo and we picked out herbal essenses curly shampoo hahah

it works sooo god for him and he smells good

its in a purple bottle

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Ok so...living in Colorado it's very dry and humid...I have curly hair and right now it's in the worse state I've ever seen it..it's dry, breaking, and I can leave conditioner in it for an hour and it still takes 30 minutes to brush it..so does anybody have tips or anything I can do to make it better??? I've tried hot oil..and it's honestly way beyond that point!! HELP!

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Same problem!! But ya know every hair style is practically in style right know. Try to make use of your curly hair not try to change it, that's the way God made you and you should be thankful you HAVE hair

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Try ironing your hair.

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

i have curly hair, but i live in the midwest so the weather is a little different.you should try using john frieda fizz ease products.and maybe you could shampoo, condition, deep conditon, and then use a leave in conditioner.if your hair is anything similar to mine, you do not want to brush it when it's dry because that will take the curl out. if none of this works, i would go to a professional stylist and ask for their opinion.

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

use a shine spray and straiten your hair

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

i have the same problem...... i can't find anything that works really good.

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

a really good conditioner does help. but see if any solutions help and some tips here

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

oh man, i am so glad my hair is short

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

I have curly hair, and how I prevent this is to use shampoo only once a week, use a lot of conditioner every day, and brush my hair while conditioner is in it. Also, something like Frizz Ease serum by John Frieda will help a lot. Hope I helped!

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Straighten it---wait tha's tough for your condition...see a hair stylist and get advice. Maybe get it cut a little. Don't wash it too much cause that can dry it out iff you wash out all the GOOD oils. And u need as many as possible in ur condition. if i have trouble brushing it, i dip my head in y sink and use conditioner as if it was in a shower. i rinse it out, then i comb it...it HELPS!!!! But please c a hair stylist.

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

you can get it straitend at the beauty salon 4 like $30

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Frederic Fekkai Moisturizing Conditioner, With Shea Butter

Moisturizing Conditioner with Shea Butter is a rich, creamy conditioner ideal for ultra-dry, thick or unruly hair. Detangles, smoothes and hydrates the hair with shea butter and sweet almond protein.

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

You should definately get a trim. Then, try the hot oil treatment. Ask your hairstylest what he/she recommends. I have curly hair also, and it tends to dry out because of how much I flat iron it. I don't understand what dry and humid weather have to do with eachother. They mean the opposite of eachother. Do you mean that it alternates? Dry weather does some serious damage of hair. Humidity isn't as bad. I mean, besides the fact that you can't wear your hair straight in it.

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

my hair is really thick and I'm in the northeast (major humidity) don't get a perm you'll sweat it out how ever you should use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to help your dry problem comb the conditioner threw your hair before rinsing it out to to moisturize every strand

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Get Curls Rock by bed head! it is amazing! stick it in your hair after you take your shower! the results are amazing!

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

My hair is naturally curly, too. (Sometimes I flat iron it, sometimes I let it be free.) It used to break ALOT, I so feel your pain. It is dry in Texas, too. Well, sometimes. Our weather has mood swings.

I have to tell that it might take a week before you see any major results, but these are tried and true results!

1. Eat protein! Hair is made out of it as well as silica. Brazil nuts have alot of both of these (good for nails, too!). Peanut butter is a booster for hair, too. I do not know if you like fish or not, but it is LOADED with great hair repair compounds. I would reccommend trout, sardines, salmon, oysters, crab, shrimp, and most other seafoods. It is better to eat the baked because the nutrients decompose (bake out) after frying.

2. If there is a health store close by, please check it out and ask about silica supplements. Bodies absorb nutrients better from food, but it sounds like you could use a potent source right now.

3. Eat leafy greens, too! The less cooked the better. Natural spinache is so much better than the mushy stuff in cans. Try making salads out of it instead of lettuce. Spinache has more "POW" nutritional wise than lettuce.

4. Ask hair stylist if they have anything to help. Anything that is good for split ends should work all over the hair as well.

I wish you the best! Almost no hair product works good on my hair, except for Garnier Frutics Style, strong formula (one in a tiny round spray bottle and the other in a cylinder) but I used to use these as a cover-up until I realized what's really wrong with it,.. not enough protein and silica. Our kind of hair is hard to work with, but with the right stuff and food, you will be so happy! Keep eating like this (but don't overdose) and your hair will definatley get better. If you are allergic to any of these, E-mail me and I'll do so research for you.

PS- Cool! I have a long lost twin here @ YAHOO! Hey, Again!

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Go to your hairstylist and tell he/she to thin it out a little. Ask he/she if they think it would be a good idea to get a perm to relax some of your curl. By perm, I mean a perm with larger rollers to help soften your natural curls. I think this will work. Good Luck

Help!!! Curly hair issues!?

Ok I have very curly hair so trust me.

what you do is buy a detangling spray and detangle. Then add conditioner to every section of your hair and sleep with it on. In the morning shampoo with a very moisturizing shampoo the condition with a lot of conditioner, while in the shower detangle again. Then add leave in conditioner to your hair and a combination of gel and mousse. If this doesn't work buy Emergencie by Nexxus its amazing. Last but not least the best shampoo and conditioner for curly hair is suave in coconut

What do I put on biracial baby hair?

My baby is half white and half black. I wash his hair and then I comb it and brush it, and put baby oil on it. Acouple hours later it's like I never even touched it.It's so dry, I do not know what else to do. Any suggestions?

What do I put on biracial baby hair?

don't put baby oil on his hair. you should only put baby oil in with his bath water if you want to use it. you should use pink oil lotion. wash his hair with baby shampoo %26amp; put the pink oil lotion on it %26amp; comb his hair.

they make a moisturizer for babies, i don't remember what it's called, but we use it on my nephew. we buy it at dollar general. it's basically like pink oil lotion but it comes in a spray bottle. it's a pink bottle %26amp; it has a black baby boy on the picture. they also have vaseline in a pink container with the same baby on the front. so we put vaseline on his hair maybe once or twice a week. and we spray the baby moisturizer on there a couple times a week before he goes to daycare so his hair won't be so dry.

but yes, i agree with you. and it's not just mixed babies. it's black babies too. it's hard to find products for caring for black babies hair.

What do I put on biracial baby hair?

It depends on the texture of the baby's hair.

My mom used Pink Oil on our hair. I'm only about 1/16th white but for the longest had the more manageable hair out of us. My sister is also about 1/16th but has really nappy hair and had to use hair grease. My little brother and baby sister are 1/4 white. My brother has nice curly hair and only needs to put water in it. My sisters hair eats up anything put on it.

I don't know how old your baby is, but you don't want to put anything more "intense" than Pink Oil in his/her hair until they're older. They even make a Pink Oil Light which isn't as thick that might be a better choice.

http://www.ebonyline.com/hair-care-by-br...

What do I put on biracial baby hair?

Baby oil is not good on any hair. Try BIOSILK Oil - it comes in a clear plastic bottle, usually at a hair cuttery (best place to buy products). This stuff is great - really. Get a cut that works for his type hair, not your preference of how you want his hair to look. With the proper shampooing, conditioning and cut - nothing more really need be done.

What do I put on biracial baby hair?

After you wash his hair do you apply conditioner? Find one for baby's hair. If you don't do this already, you can let his hair air dry then put baby oil in his hair. When his hair is wet you should comb it with a wide tooth comb for a baby(do not brush hair is at it's weakest point when wet) If you want his hair to grow when he is older do not relax it. I know a woman who relax her son's hair b/c it was hard to manage and had to cut off it was damaged. I hoped this helped a bit. You can always go to professional hair dresser for advice or look for baby hair products for his hair type.

What do I put on biracial baby hair?

Try Carols Daughter....there products are REALLY good for africna american as well as mixed hair. I'm mixed, and have been using it. Here's the website http://www.carolsdaughter.com

Hair problem!!!!?

i got my hair cut about 5 days ago....I got it layered and thinned out with a side fringe, when it was finished it looked amzing but since then i have washed my hair and blow dryed it using a round brush the way the pros do(but im no whre near that good)i even washed it with sunsilk silky and straight which helps to straigten your hair . but no matter how hard i try the fringe WONT work...my hair keeps frizzing and its going all wavy in a messy way!!!!i brush it and it still looks wierd....i dont use a straigtner and doubt that i will but can anyone give some advice?!!?!?!?!

Hair problem!!!!?

firstly blow dry your hair along the direction of growth otherwise ur hair sticks up.

then, get a hair brush and spray a little hair spray on it and brush it through your fringe. keep putting a little bit on at a time until ur hair isnt frizzy.

another thing to try is one of those spray water gels, because the mist is very fine, it doesnt jst stick to your hair and make it look like crap.

if you over condition your hair it makes it proper frizzy, so next time u condition, use the tiniest blob u can, like..the size of a pound, and apply it to the ends of ur hair only, stay away from your fringe. that way ur hair will be knot free where it needs to be, and not frizzy at ur fringe..

Hair problem!!!!?

Ask the salon what it is that they use on your hair. You know your hair best and what works for you and what now:)

Hair problem!!!!?

Sounds to me like you're having a "hair day"...

Honestly, try Pantene

Hair problem!!!!?

you have to use a leave-in product that will reduce the frizzies...you can easily find these products called hair serum which will reduce any moisture when setting your hair with the dryer. give yourself a chance, I know it takes a while to re-create the style at home

Hair problem!!!!?

just straighten your fringe. you dont have to use GHDs, you can get them for a tenner in chemists

Hair problem!!!!?

As said above ask what they used , or have your hair styled 3 times a week.. Big bonus tell your stylist what you want wash and go or i got time .

Hair problem!!!!?

Most hairdressers are willing to show you how to maintain the style they gave you.

Hair problem!!!!?

Try some of the hair smoothing products that are out on the market. I use allot of Charles Worthington products. They have everything from shampoo to hairspray.

Also be sure not to over-dry or brush your hair too much both of these can cause hair to frizz. When you try to make your hair fringed on the side work with your fingers and use a little hair gel or hairspray. It will take some work to get used to styling it but hey it is worth the effort!

Main thing is don't get discouraged and keep trying!

BTW when I was working in a salon if a client came to me and said "How did you do this??" I would wash their hair and take them through it so that they could see it again . Try calling your stylist and if that doesn't work there is no law against asking to watch other stylists in any salon style someones hair.

Good luck hun I hope this helps you out some.

Hair problem!!!!?

There are dozens of anti frizz products out there. The trouble with getting your hair done in a salon is they load your hair down with so many products; even if you have had a bad cut, it can be disguised with mousse, serum, straightening spray, etc.

John Freida anti frizz serum is very good.

So are the Aussie products.

Look for a range of products made especially for keeping hair sleek.

I have hair now in one length, just to the nape of my neck; but in my haircut brfore the last one, I asked for layering and a side fringe, I went back to the salon and they advised something like a GHD, which I wasn't really keen on either.

In the end , I gave up on making the fringe stay in place; so i moussed it when I washed, and blow dried it slightly back from my forehead, making it look as if it was part of my hair rather than just a fringe, and I liked the effect so much, I kept it.!

I think it would do no harm to talk to them in the salon anyway; they want their customer to be happy, and might offer you some sort of treat for your hair.

Hair problem!!!!?

OK: wash your hair, but don't put any conditioner on.

Instead, make a concoction from a little olive oil (sesame, jojoba, evening primrose would be great, but any old oil will do, as long as you haven't actually fried anything in it previously), a whole egg and some honey.

Slap it on, leave for as long as you can.

Wash off, condition as usual.

Add some CIDER vinegar into a bottle of lukewarm water, give it a shake, then use it as the last rinse.

Dry your hair, don't rub towel all over it, just pat it (otherwise you end up braking the ends, and such).

Now, when using a hair-drier, gently PULL the hair strands in a direction you want it to go. Hold a moment or two, then move on.

The whole point of putting on a hair-mask is to let your hair recover from the cut id received recently.

The style-tips are all about telling your hair what you want it to do, retraining it, if you like.

Try it, this should work.

Hair problem!!!!?

Ask the salon what they used on your hair.....or try using a straightner!

Hair problem!!!!?

GHD hair straightners they are actually amazing......nofrizz and sleek straight hair they are the best straightners out there.also try toni n guy sleek n str8 serum.. apply 2 dry hairx

Hair problem!!!!?

you have to straighten the fringe with a ceramic straightner. if i didnt use one i would just have a fuzzy kink where my fringe is but i straighten it every morning and its sleek.

Hair problem!!!!?

I think going back to the salon would be a good idea get them to blowave your hair while there blowaving ask them to give you some tips on the parts your having trouble with and also buy what ever it is they use in your hair, also try buying the de lorenzo leave in conditioner its real good and helps with broken hair from frizzing.

good luck

Hair problem!!!!?

Firstly sunsilk contains silicone which doesnt smooth or straighten your hair so that is probably the initial problem.

I'd recommend a range called Strait Line by L'anza, they have a good shampoo, conditioner, smoother and heat defence.

What you've got to remember is you're hair will never look as good as the salon blowdry. Don't try to copy what you have seen your stylist do.

If you have a side fringe, use the hairdryer nozzle to really blast it down straight, without a brush. This sets it to sit at a side angle later on. Use your fingers to pull the hair down.

If your fringe is longer (easier to manage) then you can use a paddle brush underneath it to reduce frizz.

You must remember fringes only look smooth and sleek with good products, a good hairdryer and straighters.

I'd recommend L'anza Anti Ageing serum for smoothness. I use it and it is 鎷?9 a bottle but lasts for AGES!

Alternatively try Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell.

I hope this helps.

Hair problem!!!!?

Ok, if they used straigteners at the salon thats why it looked soo good, so invest in some straighteners and you're hair would probably go perfect!!!

Hair problem!!!!?

use straighteners, but make sure you use a heat defence spray first otherwise you'll ruin your hair, good luck!

Hair problem!!!!?

Spray a little hairspray on your round brush and blowdry as normal, pulling your fringe down, not out. It should hold your fringe in place and discourage frizz : )

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

My husband's dog nonstop SHEDS...she's a short-haired dog, with black coarse hair (a Staffordshire Bull Terrier). Today I found her hair in the FRIDGE...so we had a heated discussion about what we're going to do about it. (My husband does NOT care for his dog in that regards...doesn't brush her, bathe her nor pick up her hair....I do it...and I'm quite ticked off about it)

We have berber carpet throughout most of the house and then plush in the bedrooms...linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. BUT, I will vacuum...and then roller (lint catcher) brush the carpet and get dog hair. We have a Dirt Devil Vision...2 yrs old....new filter. I just can't seem to get it all in the berber.

I thought maybe having our carpets steam cleaned? But does anyone have ANY tips for the dog hair!! I'm going nuts keeping this house hair-free.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

Spray the surfaces you want to remove the hair from with an anti-static spray (found on laundry detergent/fabric softener aisle near starch spray). I have a white cat and red furniture. I totally understand your problem.

Also you can comb your husband's dog's fur with a comb that is sold at pet stores and pet departments. It does work better than nothing. I wouldn't ruin my marriage over the dog, but I think the only reason you have to take care of the dog is because you DO take care of the dog, either that or he just doesn't care about dog hair and doesn't consider it gross. Your husband sounds like mine. He doesn't care about cleanliness at all. Drives me nuts!

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

No problem, I'm glad to help. Good luck! Report It

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

I vacuum, dust, and mop everyday. Nothing really helps, 10 minutes after its pretty much back. If you hate it that much getting rid of the dog is really your only option or divorce.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

if you have a dog in the house plain and simple you are going to have dog hair. you need to come to an agreement with your husband about proper grooming of the dog. he needs to step up and do something to help. if the sight of a single dog hair bothers you to the point where you are lint rolling your entire house, seriously you need to see a counselor about your OCD.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

Well, first he shouldn't be allowed to have the dog inside the house if he is unwilling to take proper care of it. A regular bath, brusing, and some coat conditioner will make a BIG difference on the amount of shedding, as will regular doses of vitamins.

With that said, here is a tip on removing stubborn hair from carpet.

Use Duct tape, wrapped several times around your hand with the sticky side out, and pat the carpet. Turn the tape as it gets loaded with hair. The duct tape has such a strong adhesive that it will pull most hair from the carpet fibers without any problems.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

There is no way to keep the dog from shedding. I would rent a steam cleaner once a month or so to do the carpets. A house where a dog resides within is never hair free. Do a regular sweep and vacum of the house everyday.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

What are you feeding this dog and is it in the home most of the time? If you leave it out for long periods in hot weather they shed more. Also diet can contribute to this. Is this dog regularly groomed and bathed like every 6 weeks or so?

You will never get away from the hair totally but some of these ideas may help. I have collies...they are groomed weekly and bathed every 6 weeks. I do have dog hair but some...its just what they do...shed.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

Purchase a Roomba, so you don't have to vacuum constantly. Although its expensive, It can be a real time saver. Also, a heavy duty air filter. You could also pay an animal-loving neighbor kid to brush your dog daily. If worse comes to worse, you could have the dog shaved. If your husband doesn't care about the state of the dogs hair, he certainly shouldn't mind the complete lack there-of.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

Hi know the feeling, I have a chihuahua , she sheds constantly, go to www.drsfostersmith.com, they have shed stop, also vitacoat , it really helps.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

Well if you have a dog in your house you are going to have dog hair. But there is a way to have less dog hair. Try brushing the dog ALOT. You can't believe how much hair you can get. By brushing your dog it should take all the hair off of her so she doesn't have to shed it off. You should have a cleaner house with much less dog hair.

Oh and to get all the dog hair off your fruniture try washing, vacuming, or stickyrolling. Or what my mom does it but your blankets, rugs, sheets, ect... in the dryer.(do not put in washer) She says it takes most of the cat/dog hair off.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

I have a Siberian Husky who sheds fine, white fur constantly. I used to have a dark green carpet so it looked like it had snowed in my room all the time. Once a week I used the blade that I use to brush her to brush the carpet. Yes, it's time consuming- so you will probably resent your husband's lack of contribution even more.

Out of curiosity- why is she your "husband's dog"? I had a dog before I got married and my husband loves her. Now she's OUR dog. It's not a good idea to have a family dog who is only the responsibility of a designated individual.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

You will NEVER be able to keep your house hair-free. That comes with having a dog. Dogs shed 24/7, so even if you bought a top of the line vacuum, the dog would walk through the room and leave hair behind. It's just something that you are going to have to adjust to. Sorry!

Have your husband groom his dog. It won't stop the shedding, but it will cut down.

UGH! Dog hair in carpet....and everywhere! What tips do you have??

It sounds like you're doing a great job in trying to accomodate you're husband's need to have a dog he will not take care of. The problem is, until the dog is physically cared for (brushing, bathing, quality nutrition, etc.) the shedding issue will not be resolved.

I agree with you about hair (animal or human) filtering throughout your home...it's unhealthy! My tip to you would be to either let your husband know that he will groom the dog weekly; or, he can take him to the groomers to be shaved as often as necessary.

Need help with straight hair...?

i have long straight hair with long bangs, i mean stick straight. i use curling iron with styling brush to make my bangs and hair sort of wavy but it doesn't last very long. i tried my friends hairspray to help hold but it was really sticky and made my hair feel hard, like ewww. what can i do or use to help?

Need help with straight hair...?

my sister is a hair dresser and i have the same problem.. try to spray your hair while curling it meaning while the curling iron is in your hair.. you shouldnt need to much spray so you shouldnt have that feeling of sticky.. hope it works for you . you could also try a little bit of mousse in your hair near the roots flipping your hair upside down to blow dry it that will give it some body without perment effects of a perm.

Need help with straight hair...?

Be happy taht you dont have curly frizzie hair.

Need help with straight hair...?

Gherry curl baby girl!

Need help with straight hair...?

ya...um, try different hairstyles, mabe get a perm. mabie put it up

Need help with straight hair...?

ure lucky! i have frizzy hair and wen i try 2 straight it keeps bcoming curly after 1 hour!

try curling stuff like sprays, shampoos or creams

Need help with straight hair...?

try to flat iron it maybe that will help.

Need help with straight hair...?

You could get a perm and damage all your soft, fine, virgin hair. That would certainly add curl and body.

Or you could be happy with what most girls are paying hundreds of dollars to get and spending over an hour a day to achieve only to walk out side in the humidity and have it ruined.

Need help with straight hair...?

There is always scrunch spray, and blow drying your hair upside down.. mouse in in your hair while its wet and then scrunch also works well.. But hey I like straight hair!! You prolly look really cute with it like that! : D

Need help with straight hair...?

Before you go to bed braid your hair and then when you wake up in the morning, shake out the braids, spray and scrunch some sort of 'beach hair' product into it and your hair will be wavy! Or, you could get a wave put into it at the Hairdressers if you wanted something longer lasting?

Need help with straight hair...?

you should be glad you have stick straight hair! i wish i did!

=] you could try shmpoo that is meant to make your hair curly, i think sunsilk has some, and garnier fructis has the curl and shine products. You should try it =]

Need help with straight hair...?

frankly, I think that long straight hair looks good. if you want it curly you could get a perm. but if you just want some body in your hair you should try and train your hair to naturally wave. thats what i did and i love it. if that dosent work try curling your hair after you take a shower and sleep in curlers.

Need help with straight hair...?

Well, I'd give anything to have stick straight hair, but when you get out of the shower, shake out your hair till it's mostly dry. Then put some curling mousse in it. Start with the bottom in the palm of your hand, then bring it up to the top of your part and squeeze. Hold it for about 5 seconds and see what you end up with. after you have tried this a few times, you should get your own teqnuiqe that is best for your hair.

Need help with straight hair...?

Get a really strong perm/wave

Can I keep my hair cleaner/nicer without washing it daily?

I don't like washing my hair every day, as when I do, it makes my hair seem strangly and more oily than when I don't wash it. I usually wash it every other day. It doesn't get really oily or smelly, but I just feel like my hair hasn't been washed for a couple days.

A few weeks ago I was really sick and I didn't wash it for four days, and my hair seemed way happier (although I felt gross).

Anyway, my question is whether some sort of brush or product would help keep my hair looking and feeling cleaner between hair washing days.

Can I keep my hair cleaner/nicer without washing it daily?

you can just put in baby powder or cornstarch

these are both cheap alternatives to expensive dry shampoos with the same result

just put some in a comb and on the greasier parts of the scalp and brush in

these will absorb any grease in the hair making it feel light and much cleaner

i recommend doing this if you're tired of continuous washing which can hurt you hair

Can I keep my hair cleaner/nicer without washing it daily?

Bumble and Bumble sells a colored powered to sprinkle on your roots to take the oil away and make it smell better i believe they have brown black red and blonde

Can I keep my hair cleaner/nicer without washing it daily?

You can get a product called batiste which stops your hair from getting greasy and makes it soft.

Can I keep my hair cleaner/nicer without washing it daily?

Most hairdressers and fashion people will acknowledge that you do not need to wash your hair every day. Every other is usually ok, or even every 3, depending on what you do.

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

Mine is 10 and we're not over this stage yet!!! God help us all..

I was feeling like I was nagging her constantly so I made her a morning check list. It worked for a while...and now I have no idea where the list is...I think I'll make another today!

I'm thinking this is just a phase. My daughter could really care less about anything related to personal hygene. Her new thing is to not wear socks :| ...She has stinky feet! lol

I told her this morning, if I catch her trying to sneak out to school without socks again, no webkinz for a week. I'll let you know how that goes...

I've wondered if this is more of a problem for tomboys (that's my daughter) My other daughter(5) is more of a girly girl and she does all of these things without asking.....

I'm betting once she starts noticing boys a little more she takes better care of herself and I can relax a little. I have no help to offer but I wanted to let you know that you're not alone! Good luck! :)

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

I have an eight year old neice, she lives with her father. I sometimes see her in the morning before she goes to school; her hair is uncombed 90% of the time, even when i brush it for her and style it, she still manages taking her hair accessories out. But when I let her buy and choose what she wanted to put in her hair and what style she wanted, she started liking having her hair fixed. If your little girl does not care about brushing her teeth or hair, then the simplest thing you can do is buy her a new toothbrush, hair brush, and things of the sort. If she likes it enough, maybe she will actually use it.Lol, thats my theory. Hope it helps^-^

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

I think most kids have a time where they balk at doing this. Tell her that if she refuses to brush her teeth that she loses privileges, and that if she won't brush her hair you will make her get it cut really short. Most girls like having long hair so that might get her to brush it.

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

My daughter is clean in every other aspect except for brushing her teeth . She says the toothpaste makes her gag . They are kids and will outgrow these things ,we did right.

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

It's the age. Kids go through a stinky phase. (Some do it again in their early teens.) Consistency in morning and evening hygiene routines will help but it may be a struggle for a while until they develop better personal habits w/o parental supervision.

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

I remember being a 9 year old girl!! the last thing I ever wanted to do was brush my hair or teeth!!!

I'd sit with your daughter and explain that you understand that she doesn't want to do these things, (someday she will) and that you want to make a deal with her. Ask her what rewards she might want for every day she does her hair and teeth. (rewards don't have to be big, but good enough to reinforce her until she is interested). Good luck!

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

Its the age.. some kids are reluctant to do these things still.

i still have to brush my 8 year olds teeth half of the time.. esp if i want his teeth really clean.. he gags on the toothpaste too. just be patient and keep helping her.. goodluck..

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

when i was little i hated brushing my hair and teeth. my dentists gave me a glow in the dark toothbrush. iloved it. now for my hair i hate wearing my hair up. i just have plain straight hair. i'll always make sure i dont have majoree rats

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

This is not uncommon at all . My daughter is only 5 but I wirk at Bath %26amp; Boday Works and customers come in allllll the time and talk about this so do not feel that it is just you and your daughter going thru this . There is an American Girl book called The Care and Keeping of You . I highly recommend it . It explains why these things are important in terms that little girls can understand . It also goes over quite a few other things such as their body changes and has a lot of positive feel good about your stuff in it ! I am sure it is available at all Bath %26amp; Body Works and probaly on the American Girl website as well .

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

teeth no but the hair yes she screams as shes tenderheaded so she hates it brushed

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

try having a 12 year old with that problem like i do.

Has anyone had trouble with their 9 yr. old little girl brushing her teeth and hair?

I don't think I brushed my hair much when I was 9 years of age. Just let her be carefree...she'll probably start being more self-conscious about it when she's a teenager.

Would I look good with this hair cut?

I love this cut:

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=6ofgsxu%26amp;...

This is me:

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=73enx8n%26amp;...

but do you think the cut would require a lot of work, b/c i dont normally spend any time on my hair, becuase its straight i normally brush and go. I also play a lot of tennis so I want something that can work for both school and tennis.

Would I look good with this hair cut?

I think the cut you want Is cute. Don't change the length of your hair I love than length. You can keep your hair the same length but do that hair style!!

Would I look good with this hair cut?

hey I am good! Report It

Would I look good with this hair cut?

Yes, it might match. your face is in another angle though, so I can't tell! But i think it might look nice! =) That haircut IS really cute.

Would I look good with this hair cut?

yes you would!! just find a good stylist to do that job!

Would I look good with this hair cut?

I think it would look good, and all it would take is probably a little hairspray, or something.

Would I look good with this hair cut?

Yes you would look good.

Would I look good with this hair cut?

u look pretty gud rite now

Would I look good with this hair cut?

your pretty with long hair but u could totally go with the that style too

Would I look good with this hair cut?

all you should need to do is brush your hair, messy it up a little so your layers stand out, and put in a little hairspray.

i think it'd look great on you !

Would I look good with this hair cut?

Yes it would look nice.

No it wouldn't require much work (it's just layers and side swept bangs). You might want to wear the bangs away from your face for tennis.

You have straight hair so it will look like that without blowdrying it.

Would I look good with this hair cut?

yes.

i play tennis also... to get the bangs out of your eyes, just use bobby pins.

=].

Would I look good with this hair cut?

smokin hot

Would I look good with this hair cut?

Would I look good with this hair cut?

Indeed!!! I think that might be your new look, Go for it!!

Would I look good with this hair cut?

You'd look great with it. :]

Would I look good with this hair cut?

You may need some texturizer or spray wax to make it as defined as that picture.

Looks like it'll work nice with your face shape too!

:)

Would I look good with this hair cut?

Yeah it looks like you have the same face shape as the actress in the picture. All it is is layers

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

I shed so much, it's disgusting. On my hair ties, after I straighten it (i don't do so often, so I doubt that's the reason), while taking a shower, while brushing, basically whenever - my hair just keeps falling out. I don't think it's health issue or at least I hope not, what can I do to prevent this, is there a special shampoo or something?

If it's any help, I use Head and Shoulders Shampoo and Herbal Essences condition from damages/dry hair. I think it might have gotten worse after I started using conditioner now that I think about it, but I'm not quite sure.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

An average woman loses hundreds of hairs a day. It's normal. I shed as well. The best thing for you to do is when you are taking a shower to run your fingers through it until you have gotten all the lose hairs. The only reason it seems like so much in a hair tie is because it can't fall out freely. The hair is restricted by the hair tie. Only start to worry if you notice a drastic change in the thickness of your hair. If there is none then you are quite normal.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

quit pulling it

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

See your doctor...you might have a condition called allopecia. The faster you see him the better chance you have to treat this condition before it gets too advanced.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

It's normal to shed this time of year. Everybody does it! I do. Don't worry about it!

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

my hair falls out a lot too. ive heard that it falls out when it gets too clean, which I wash it everyday, so that might be the problem.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

Try using a deep conditioner or a hair oil. Maybe a hot oil treatment.

My hair was totally baked and falling out from dying it so much and I put a hot oil treatment on it and it was MUCH better.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

Not getting enough vitamins can cause your hair to fall out excessively.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

Might want to see your doctor about this. I had the symptom of dry hair that was falling out and it turned out that I had low thyroid. I started on some medication and within a very short time my hair was looking great and I was feeling better than I had in ages.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

I shed alot too, but it's probably due to the fact that I have alot of hair... hehe

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

you are supposed to lose at least a hundred hairs a day. so dont freak out. if its anymore then that go to your doctor.

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

it means that u dont have enough protein and calcium in your body - trust me, you should start eating healthier like fruits and veg. and meats

What can I do to stop my hair from falling out?

Nioxin is a brand that will help stimulate the follicles in your head to keep them alive. So basically, it allows you to keep what you have.

Rogaine for Women seems to be working pretty well right now too...

And have your hair stylist recommend a shampoo and conditioner that is gonna be expensive but worth every penny

Thick hair?

i ahve knida thick hair and it frizzes sometmes

sometimes it says for an hour then poofs up!

how can i make yit stop without ussing products (the only things i have are hiarsray, a brush, a ponytail holder, a blow dryer and thats it!)

Thick hair?

OMG metoo!!!!!!!! i have thick hair and LOT AND LOS of hair what i do its to blow dry it or put i on a ponytail becaus ei look good or try different hairstyles but resently i have been using a special machine that straightens my hair i mean like its all soft and staright and zero friz!or u can do the japanse straighter it stright ur hair for a year ;) hope i helped

Thick hair?

just blow dry it straight

Thick hair?

wrap your hair at night.

Thick hair?

dont blow dry it.

it will frizz FOR SUrE!!!!

ok. so brush it until you like it. (tie it up if you like)

then soak it in hair spray. works for me

Thick hair?

dont use hairspray unless you have to because it is un-healthy.

Thick hair?

You need to get a straightener!!! thats really the only thing that will really work...Try getting Frizz-ez by John frida it helps with the frizzyness

good luck

Thick hair?

wash it than blow it dry for at least 10mins

Thick hair?

ok please just ask one of ur friends cause dudes don't know

Thick hair?

Get your hair thinned out at like coles salaon, great clips, anywere!

Thick hair?

Well i have really thick hair and when i go 2 a hair salon then i ask them 2 trim it and then i ask them 2 thin it out. I use tresseme shampoo and conditioner, and then when i get out of the shower i brush it and put it in a bun or ponytail and leave my hair like that till it dries and then take it out and its usually not frizzy. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!!!

Thick hair?

it's kinda hard if you don't have any products...so I suggest that you go and buy some. You can try wetting your hair a bit, and then flattening it by combing through your hair.. then secure it with a ponytail.

Thick hair?

I would first get a haircut....get lots and lots of layers and ask your hairdresser to thin it out with a razor. then when you style it (i woudl really recommend buying some products to put in it makes it so much easier....biosilk silk therapy is amazing) if you have no products, use your brush while you blowdry it....and maybe invest in a straightening iron too. then spray some hairspray onto your brush and brush your hair with it when your all done. hopefully that should keep your hair in place! :-)

Thick hair?

Umm . . . you can probably make it work if you bought an Anti-frizz serum . . . and then blow dry it straight.

Thick hair?

well, a good way would be a special shampoo, like l'oreal, i think they made something to help frizzy hair. also, you definitely want it to be healthy, so keep it moisturized. a sign of dehydrated hair is frizziness. so drink lots of water and don't go swimming - chlorine is bad for your kind of hair!

Thick hair?

It probably frizzes up by absorbing moisture from the atmosphere; the best way to stop it is with products I'm afraid. A simple leave in conditioner means your hair absorbs that instead of moisture but if you just need a quick fix hair serums like Frizz-Ease are great. Apart from that, try to touch it as little as possible - the grease and oil on your hands will also make it frizz.

Thick hair?

dnt use a blow dryer it makes it puffier.

U should take a shower and then put like some gel in it and comb the tangles out.(if you wanna wear it down)

U should take a shower them comb out tangles gel a lil and put it in a pony tail.

Thick hair?

1st of all you need 2 learn how 2 spell

ahve - have

says - stays

yit - it

very simple tasks

Thick hair?

maybe invest in buying a flat iron probably a 200 degree one only because it works faster and tougher. I also have thick frizz hair and blowdrying it always makes it worse for me so dont block dry it unless yu need to. Also after flat ironing it hairspray may make your hair better longer. If you cant afford a flat iron you could always just ask someone to use a clothes iron but the only thing is its not made for hair so afterword your hair might just dry up a bit but if you use a really good moistureizing shampoo and conditioner shoudl work like a charm =]

Thick hair?

make sure you blow dry it right after you get out of the shower or after it gets wet. try to spray the roots of your hair around your face to keep the stray hairs down(dont put to much though). if you have bangs u can also lightly spray them or use a hair mist(lighter than hairspray for holding in place hair naturally) if you have any questions you can write me back

Thick hair?

Just brush your hair without using hairspray till its straight, then tie it in a ponytail to the side of your head.

Not using a blowdryer is the best option but in this case try this!

Hope this helped!

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

I have really long hair but I keep getting huge rat nests right in back of my head. I tried trimming, I usually pass a brush through a few times a day. I use all sort of conditioner, leave in treatments, etc. Nothing seems to be helping. Any advice??

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

You must have really fine hair. Are your hair knots most evident after sleep? I'd say you should perhaps consider shorter hair length as ratty, long hair would not be pretty. You just may have the type of hair that cannot be overly long. It sounds like your hair is trying to tell you it needs to be shorter. Why are you keeping your hair so long? Go shorter a step at a time, and at each phase you will eventually find the length that your hair wants to be. There's only so much you can put on hair and if it's still not working, you need to go to Plan B. Face it and work out a solution!

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

Is it underneath? It's probably because of the type of fabric on your clothing. Your hair rubs there all day, every day, and knots form.

Get a spary-in dentangler and spry in on the area that tends to knot. Don't rinse it out. This should solve it.

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

cut your hair much shorter---problem solved

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

try wearing your hair up or carrying a small brush around in your purse to brush it through out the day. you might also want to put some detangling spray in your purse.

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

Brush your hair alot more then a few times a day.

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

I used to have the same problem. I had long curly hair but it tangled all the time and right after I just brushed it. What the problem usually is your hair has split ends really bad. Conditioner really doesn't help much. When I got my hair cut alot shorter it cut out that area so when it grew back it didn't tangle so much. Just get it cut once and then keep it in good shape. Don't brush it when its wet with a brush. You should always use a comb when its wet because the brush damages it more. If you don't want to cut it you could always just wear a pony tale. Good Luck

My hair keeps getting massive knots!!?

I have very long hair too. I was getting massive knots at one point.

Try this: Part your hair into four sections and comb each section out. Before you go onto the next one , braid it and and use a ponytail holder.

Or...

if you like to have your hair straight...wash your hair with Tresseme shampoo and Conditioner, dry and wrap your hair with a silk scarf.

Trust me..this helps and I am knot free!!

Highlight hair - Guys?

i have never highlighted my hair or anything before and i kinda want to just to do something different. I want to get some blonde highlights, but too much. Here is a picture of my hair, it a little brushed to the side in this pic:

http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd131...

I want to highlight it something like this:

http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd131...

Do any of you, females preferably, think this could work or have any suggestions? Thanks!

Highlight hair - Guys?

that'll be hot =P make sure you go to a salon for that so you don't end up looking like an idiot =)

Highlight hair - Guys?

I think u should try a little darker blonde cause that blonde wont llok good with the hair color try more of a dirtier blonde and it will look really good ....also u might want to put a red in ur hair cause it would really bring out ur face and other deatails.

Highlight hair - Guys?

ya i think it would work for you! if u did that it would look good... but maybe you should try a darker color of blond so its not to dramatic! brown looks good as your hair color right now though

Highlight hair - Guys?

I think it looks cool. A guy at my school has highlights in his hair, and his look decent. His hair is pretty much the same color as yours.

Just got a cockerspaniel. Any tips in controlling pet hair. Besides the obvious, brushing, vacuuming

Get some advice from the breeder about grooming etc.. or make regular visits to a good dog groomer ( sometimes the breeder will also be a groomer !!) Try to have laminate/wood/tiled floors in the rooms where the dog will be, its much quicker to keep clean....

Just got a cockerspaniel. Any tips in controlling pet hair. Besides the obvious, brushing, vacuuming, etc...

You can use a commercial squeegee on the rug to get the fine hair up - just pull it along the same direction as the nap on the rug. You should be able to find a big sqeegee, the kind that is as big as a mop, at a home supply or hardware store - they're under $20.

Just got a cockerspaniel. Any tips in controlling pet hair. Besides the obvious, brushing, vacuuming, etc...

Take it to a groomer.

Just got a cockerspaniel. Any tips in controlling pet hair. Besides the obvious, brushing, vacuuming, etc...

All you can do is brush and vaccum!

But you need a SHED BRUSH it gets the undercoat and overcoat...

Just got a cockerspaniel. Any tips in controlling pet hair. Besides the obvious, brushing, vacuuming, etc...

Think about switching their diet to something better. The food your dog eats WILL effect their skin and coat. Also think about getting a furminator, they work wonders.

Just got a cockerspaniel. Any tips in controlling pet hair. Besides the obvious, brushing, vacuuming, etc...

WHAT MOST OWNERS DO IS GET THERE COCKERS SPANIELS CLIP SHORT ALL OVER THE BODY TO MINIMIZE THE HAIR SHEDDING AND BECAUSE THAY ARE A HIGH MAINENCE BREED IT'S EASIER ON THE WALLET AS WELL.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

I have a very long haired indoor cat and her hair is everywhere! I bought a Dyson vacuum to assist, sold my old furniture and purchased leather however, I don閳ユ獩 see any difference. I don閳ユ獩 know what to do anymore. I will never give her away but, now I閳ユ獡 seeking all of your assistance and advise.

I try to brush her and she can閳ユ獩 stand. She gets all mad at me and runs away.

Help!

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Take her to the vet and have her strip-clipped. I do this with my cats several times a year. We used to have a "hairy" problem --BUT NO MORE!! The hair will grow back. Your cat will be very beautiful. And when you notice hair shedding again...that's when you'll know to go have kitty shaved again. You can choose how short you want it. We have ours shaved about 1/4 inch. Make sure you tell the vet you want the head, feet, and tail shaved too...or he'll leave the hair long on those parts. **The cat will look silly that way.**

Also--go get yourself some of those Carpet Flick refills. They are the stickiest stuff on the market! Use them by themselves (without the carpet flick unit) and run them over your furniture or wherever hair has acumulated. They are better than any lint roller I've ever had!!!

GOOD LUCK!

GOOD QUESTION!

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Invest in some lint rollers....lots of em.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

yea thts wut i was gonna say

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

My cat likes me to massage him with the sticky rollers that are meant to take hair out of clothes. Not sticky enough to pluck his hair, just the dead hair. He enjoys it, amybe give it a try.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Try brushing her thoroughly everyday, that will help alot

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Dyson = overpriced crap.

Get a Kenmore upright for $299.

Best vacuum I ever bought.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Use an Armour hammer pet deodorizer that also helps the static in pet hair be easily removed with out being it being a problem. as for to try to get the cat to stop shedding good luck my BF and I can not get dressed till we leave the house with out it sticking to us. and I have a short hair cat. other wise try the lint roller on your cat it will get most of the hair of that is dead/loose. You will never cure this problem.,

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

I brush my cats twice a week and that helps a lot.

Cat Hair Everywhere!?

Get her the best quality food that you can. Nutrition has a lot to do with shedding. Talk to your vet, but Science Diet is probably the way to go if you can't get into the higher priced brands.

You have to get the cat on a regular grooming routine. You just have to do a little at a time. Use a fine toothed comb, it will get the undercoat out better. You don't have to spend all this crazy money on these stupid shedding combs that are metal and hurt the cat anyway (besides it's just a clipper guard off of normal hair clippers on a stick anyhow). I have plenty of success with a 10 cent fine toothed plastic comb.

When I got my cats as kittens , I immediately started them on a regular bathing/grooming routine. They love it now. They wait for me in the bath tub when they know I'm getting ready to take my shower. They also sit still for the blow dryer and purr the whole time they are getting combed. They also only get Science Diet wet food, which ensures that they are getting a high nutritional value in the diet, according to the vet.

So, with time and patience you and your cat will do fine. Just start small. I would definitely change the food though if you aren't giving Science Diet or even Iams. Then just try one or two passes with a comb every couple hours. Then the cat will get used to the feeling of it and become more receptive to grooming.

Good luck to you!

Is there any girl/women who likes to get their hairs brushed?

I would love to meet a girl/women who would let me brush her long hairs. I am a guy and I am not a gay. I just adore long silky hairs and would love to play and brush long hairs.

I have noticed A LOT of hair loss at the top of my head, what can i do to re-grow it or stop it?

Hair loss certainly is a symptom of thyroid problem.

I have noticed A LOT of hair loss at the top of my head, what can i do to re-grow it or stop it?

sorry. it is generic. Unless those hair regrowing supplement helps. But i doubt it.

I have noticed A LOT of hair loss at the top of my head, what can i do to re-grow it or stop it?

Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

I have noticed A LOT of hair loss at the top of my head, what can i do to re-grow it or stop it?

I started loosing my hair at your age. It just happens, you could take some hair vitamins, this helps me. Try not to stress so much, this helps as well.

Does brushing or combing your hair alot really make it grow faster?

check the links below for natural homemade beauty tips to:-- How can you get a faster hair growth

http://geebal.blogspot.com/2007/01/hair-...

Does brushing or combing your hair alot really make it grow faster?

no i dont think so i know when u comb or brush ur hair alot it will fall out easily

Does brushing or combing your hair alot really make it grow faster?

What the brushing is really doing is massaging the scalp, which stimulates the hair follicles. You dont have to break out the brush just yet.

I've personally noticed that giving myself a nice long scalp massage every time I wash my hair works well. Make sure to use shampoo without any phosphates as well. Organic or salon quality products really are best.

Look for Burts Bees if you cant afford salon quality. Its cheaper and I and a personal fan.

My hair grows fast, too, if you're wondering. I don't usually use hair products or straightners either.

Does brushing or combing your hair alot really make it grow faster?

No, but it just might break off the weak ones, slowing down your quest for long, luxurious locks.

Does brushing or combing your hair alot really make it grow faster?

I'm gonna say no. Its just going to pull hair out, and break off the weak peices of your hair. I'm going to admit I dont brush my hair a lot... actually I only do after a shower because also when my hair is brushed its gets puffy and not easy to work with and I'm gonna say my hair grows pretty good. On average hair grows about 1/2inch per month anyway and that depends on diet, health, stress, and how you treat your hair... not how you brush it.

Does brushing or combing your hair alot really make it grow faster?

No

What's the best way to keep long hair smooth and tangle-free?

I have really long hair I love to wear free and straight. The only issue I have with it is how its knotted up 86% of the time. I'm not a big fan of electric hair products and of carrying a brush around with me, so are there any other ways of keeping long hair looking soft all day and not like a rat's nest?

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

When I had virgin hair, I had so much hair that it would take me for ever to brush out. After dying my hair so many times (3x every year for 7 years), I have lost so much hair!

I stopped dying it now for about 6 months and I cut it short to give it the appearance of fuller hair but it is still really fine/thin.

What can I do to make it thicker again like I used to have it with out using the Rogaine! I don't want to depend on chemicals!

Please help!

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Ensure that you eat nutritious food, with plenty of leafy vegetables. Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast.Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white and oil massage could also be used to strengthen the roots of hair. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Prell concentrate shampoo.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

First you can start with using a voluming shampoo. Maybe try using some mouse as well when your hair is wet might give it some thickness. Good luck hope it works,

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

First off, its a good thing to get away from all those products. Let your hair be beautiful naturally! To get you hair to become thicker, get it trimmed every few months. (like 2 or 3) Don't get layers, that just makes your hair thinner! Try to keep it all the same lenght.

go onto http://www.sunsilk.com

mine is the apricot anti-itch one.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

I've always had fine hair, I use salon shampoos %26amp; conditioners that are made to make my hair look thicker. I have also tried Rogaine and see a little bit of new growth from that. Without using chemicals using the shampoo and conditioner to make hair look thicker will give you the appearance of thicker hair. Curls also help, I keep mine cut short %26amp; permed. If you don't want to use the chemicals of a perm either, try using a curling iron. I've also used vitamins that are made expressly for hair growth. I found them at Walgreens. They seemed to improve the health of my hair somewhat.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Have some oil massage, (eg. coconut oil is good). Keep it for minimum 30 minutes. Wash it in slight warm water.

My hair is really fine, how can I make it thicker?

Layers will help give it some fullness. Use a light weight (spray on/leave on) conditioner. There are a lot of good products today. After shampooing %26amp; conditioning, spray on a root lifting product (Paul Mitchell has a good one sorry I can't remember the name at the moment). Also use you vent or round brush to help lift and give volume while your drying your hair %26amp; take your time. Use a curling iron where needed.

How to keep my Himalayan kittens hair from knotting up?

I have a Himalayan kitten whom is now 14 weeks old, I bathe her every few weeks and I brush and comb her every day, but she is still getting knots and matted hair around her neck and ears. Is there a way to prevent this, seems to be painfull for her when I am removing the knots.

How to keep my Himalayan kittens hair from knotting up?

You can easily remove any new knots with a fine-toothed steel comb (also known as a greyhound comb), sold at petstores in the grooming section. Hold kittens skin taught and get the comb down to the skin and pull. Unless it is seriously matted in there it will pop right out. She may object to this at first, but it really doesnt hurt, and shes a Himi, shes gotta get used to it now, otherwise it usually isnt an option when they get older. Also, if you bathe her with any knots, by getting them wet and then drying them, you will make them 10 times worse, she will get so bad your only option will be to shave her, you should be able to run the fine end of the comb through her entire body prebathing. Be sure to get her belly and armpits too. Remnember, people bred this breed of cat, with all their beautiful fur; its up to us to help them maintain it. Good luck, Himalayans are a really nice breed of cat!

I have a persian and when I bath him monthly I use cream rinse also this seems to help.

How to keep my Himalayan kittens hair from knotting up?

get a topical spray detangler. it helps to loosen the knots. you might want to try brushing twice a day. once in the morning and once before bed.

as your kitten gets older and learns to groom herself you may notice that the knots will be less.

good luck.

How to keep my Himalayan kittens hair from knotting up?

We had a himalayan cat years ago. We used "No More Tangles" a spray conditioner for babies, lightly after her bath. It was much easier to comb out and she did not get near as many knots.

How to keep my Himalayan kittens hair from knotting up?

A cream rinse after the bath should help, along with a detangler. If's she's matting this frequently, it means you need to groom her even more often. If she objects, the usual advice is "pet once, brush once", so she will associate the grooming with love and stroking.

Good luck.

What can i do with my hair?

my hair is fine but there's lots of it!! It's got a lot of volume but is kinda frizzy..it's curly if i get out of the shower and let it dry on it's own but the curls are sort of hidden behind bushyness when i brush it, it goes realllly bushy i can't explain 'afro' is the only word, even when i straighten it it's still a mess. i can't style it well, my forehead is unusually large and my cheeks are chubby so putting back into a pony just highlights them. what can i do??

btw i don't really want to have to use straighteners as it will dry out my hair!

What can i do with my hair?

you need the right hair products for your hair. i suggest visiting your hairstylist (and get a good one in your area id you don't -ask friends with great hair for recommendations) and get the right cut, then the right product for your hair type and desired length. of course, when you comb through curly hair with a brush, it is going to frizz more. you need a pick. bangs %26amp; side bangs can help make your forehead look more proportionate.

Freaking out! Hair question....?

I have always had super thick healthy shiny hair. I started dying it when I was about 13 or 14. I am now 21 and continue to dye it every few months with home kits. I have never ever had any problems whatsoever with my hair. Well a few months ago a friend of mine who is a hair stylist, cut and colored my hair. She also thinned it out a little bit. All of these things I've had done lots of times before and it's never given me a problem. She cut about 4 inches off my hair and added a few layers at the end. She dyed the top layers of my hair blonde, and the underneath layer deep dark brown so the layers stuck out more. She also thinned it out as I said before. Well ever since that day, I've been losing a ton of hair. It only takes about 3 days to fill up my brush and in the shower on average about 50-100 strands come out each time. It's worrying me because it's only getting worse, not better. Does anyone know what could have caused this or what I can do to stop it? Help!

Freaking out! Hair question....?

well i ve never heard anything like that.

you might want to see a doctor.

Does ne one know wat the name of a hair appliance is called?

There is one called "Spin-N-Style" but I think I know the exact one you're referring to. There used to be an infomercial about it a few years ago. I have one packed away somewhere, and if I can find it, I'll get back to you. Just so you know, it worked, but was nothing spectacular. (Kind of ackward to use and not great.)

My dog keep eating its baby hair is this ok?

i have a little pom pom, she likes to chew on her baby hair (er 9mo old) she is eating the baby hair that falls off her body, it's this normal, should i stop her? brush her daily? does she need to eat hair? is it bad to eat hair? will she sh it out the hair?

anything?

My dog keep eating its baby hair is this ok?

It is not good for her to eat the hair, she can get hairballs like cats do, can get constipated or even intestinal blockage. Not sure how to get her to stop, but you should try, maybe a doggy sweater? Definitely brush her so less is falling out. You can give her hairball medicine to help the hair pass.

My dog keep eating its baby hair is this ok?

She is trying to tell you something. Brush me, clean up my hair, or I will eat it. lol

I have the same problem...Usually I try to deep condition at least once a week. I normally use Aussie 3-minute Miracle stuff...but yesterday I got Paul Mitchell's Super Strong Treatment and my hair feels great...

Also, try using a wide-toothed comb. Much better than a regular comb or brush.

Other ladies with curly frizzy touseld wavey nappy hair ? please help the nappy haired white girl/arab girl?

You might need to try some things for African hair that will help control the frizz and help form the curls while letting it still look natural. It's not a good idea to brush curly hair once it has dried tho because then you end up with a fro (believe me, I know). Or you can try some serums like frizz ease and then use a mousse or gel depending on how much control and/or hold you need. You might also want to consider a new cut that will work better for your hair type. Layers are good for curly hair. Embrace the insanity that is your hair and go with it :) some girls have wild big curly hair and it looks hot.

Other ladies with curly frizzy touseld wavey nappy hair ? please help the nappy haired white girl/arab girl?

I forget what it's called, but it's a chemical treatment, done by a pro in a salon and it'll just make coarse or thick hair much more managable. They'll leave it on a little while if you want to keep your waves or longer if you want permanently straight hair. I've seen a few done at the salon I go to and it gives the hair a beautiful natural sheen and makes drying time super fast!

Other ladies with curly frizzy touseld wavey nappy hair ? please help the nappy haired white girl/arab girl?

....I get what ur saying. All I can tell you it to get it wet and put mousse in it. Sometimes certain gels work but mousse solves everything: shape, texture, body, frizz, and even those wavy parts. After every shower brush it out, flip it over and shake it. then get upright and scrunch it [it meaning ur hair] and then apply the mousse scrunching it in. but you'll want to wash our hair everyday or else it looks greasy and bad. lol good luck

HELP : Dry Hair?

I have really dry hair from straightening it too much or not brushing it enough. My hair used ot be very shiny and glowing. Any help of how I can naturally return the shine? Any hair mask solutions?

HELP : Dry Hair?

try lemmon jucie to give it that extra shine aslo when using a straighter use tre may heat spay sold in most stores this will help with kepping ur hair straight and giving it a good shine

HELP : Dry Hair?

i had the same problem, i still straighten/blow dry my hair but its not dry anymore. i use thermasilk, moisture infused shampoo and conditioner. it works really well b/c its heat activated so it help with the heat, its not damaged by it. =]

HELP : Dry Hair?

Don't straighten your hair allot that's whats making your hair dry. Brush your hair more and shower once a day

HELP : Dry Hair?

Infussium is a miracle product! Be consitant on the products you use.. do not use a different shampoo, anti frizz, hairspray.. whatever. I recommened professional products because it is really damaged. Depending on your length maybe go to a salon that offers either Sammy, or Chavez products. Ask them if they can perhaps give you a cut that will remove most or some of the damaged part. Then wash every other day or every 2 days so the water will not dry your hair out. Also purchase a humidifier and place it in your room at night, the moisture in the air will help it as well as your skin. Try not to use the heat alot. I straighten every night, I wash at night and use infussim, then everything else is Tressume which I love.

HELP : Dry Hair?

avoid using any hot straighteners or curlers for awhile. shampooing dries hair out. skip the shampoo and use only conditioner every other day or use conditioner two days in a row then shampoo the next. leave it in for a few minutes then wash it out. after a week or two your hair will be much softer and shinier

HELP : Dry Hair?

You can try Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner. It'll help moisturize dry and damaged hair and it'll help repair it. I'm currently having the same problem and little by little I can see the improvement. You should also try to wash your hair every third day rather than everyday because if you wash your hair every day you are taking away important oils that are needed in your hair and it dries it out faster. Try shampooing your hair really good, make sure you get it all clean and as for the conditioner, rub it in your hair, start out at the ends and work your way up and leave it in your hair for about three minutes then rinse it all out. Before you know it, you'll start seeing results! Also when you straighten your hair you should put something in it before you start straightening it such as L'Oreal Paris Studio Heat Seeker. It's a black bottle and if you add some of the product into your hair then start straightening your hair it'll become really soft! Or also you can try ThermaSilk Straight %26amp; Smooth Leave-In Cream. You can put it on before and after you straighten your hair and it'll help keep it straight and smooth. And also brush your hair every morning when you wake up and before you go to sleep and your hair will get nicer!

HELP : Dry Hair?

try mayo regular mayo or non alcoholic beer or try to use vegetable oil and warm it up and appy it to your hair wrap it in plastic wrap and put a towel on your head and leave it for a hour and then take a bath and wash it good to get the oil off

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

ok. so basically, I want to dye my hair at home

my hair stylist gave me PROFESSIONAL color.

actually he gave me 2.

he told me to just by something at sally beauty supply.

I know HOW to do it, i just don't know how to get started.

I also don't know how long to leave the dye in.

I can't find anything online and the box says diddly squat.

I have all the tools

the measuring cup, brush and bowl.

but I just need HELP!

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

im guessing if you went to sallys you got the powder that you mix with the dye? if you did, then you just mix the right amount of that together, you probubly need two if the stylist gave you two dyes.

get it all lathered through your hair really good and let it in anywhere from 25-35 minutes.

goodluck.

=]

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

you are not a professional so you will not have a professional color. all you can do is follow the directions on the box carefully and hope for the best. good luck.

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

Each brand is slightly different. The instructions for each brand can be found "inside" the box, not on the outside. Just read and follow the instructions carefully.

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

well ask u're hairdresser who gave u did dye,n ask him about it...hope ma answer helps

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

Go to a hairstylist.

Dyeing hair is too much trouble.

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

first off dying hair works better on dirty hair [meaning you haven`t washed it in a day or two]. i'm sure you know how to mix the color. when you put it in your hair make sure you part your hair in sections to ensure you don't miss any spots. start at your root and work your way to the ends. and you really only leave it on for like 30 minutes. hoped this helped.

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

heyy

ok so i have dyed my hair alot of times haha.

and i like dying it dark brown or like redish brown.

and i usually just mix everything together and make sure its really mixed up good.

then get a clip or something and sperate your hair into 4-6 sections. and then put the gloves on and take the brush apply the dye to one section and make sure you completely cover it. so on so on. then once your done with everything you should probably only leave it on for 15 minutes unless you want it just a little darker then do 20 minutes.. ok so then rinse it out really good!!! and if you have it just use a color protecting conditioner not any shampoo yet!!

ok i hope you got your answer lol.

byebyebye!!!!!!!

How do i dye my hair at home [in depth]?

ok i dye my hair at home all the time! all you really need is the color the devoloper amd the bottle to mix it in and gloves start at your roots from side to side and from front to back then put the color on the rest of your hair if you have blonde hair and you are going dark leave it on for about 35 mon if you are dark going to a diff dark color 25 mins should do it. now if your going from dark to a lighter color get it down professionally trust me even though they do have products for highlights that do work very well. But don't do it if your not experienced!! if you have anymore questions email me!
