If you can't deal w/ your natural hair either get a perm or try different hair products. I really can't imagine your hair getting knotty every minute-- are you exaggerating???

However u may want to invest in a ceramic flat iron. CHI makes a good 1! This will straighten ur hair on the top and bottom and will keep ur hair smooth in between ur hair appointments! ;-)

Try using a detangler in the shower/bath, also there are several leave -in treatments for frizzy hair. Try a couple of different products in the store, Aussie is a very good brand. Do not use shampoo or conditioner with volumizer in it.

If the over the counter stuff doesn't work, go to a salon and try Sebastian products. Some of the other products they sell there are very good. Try a Sally's Beauty Supply store, which carries good products.

Frizz control helps your hair to lay down. Try using a blow dryer and a round brush, for straightening, but only when your hair is wet. Make sure your hair is completely dry when your finished.

No telling if it will take all the curl out of your hair, but it should make it more manageable, and possibly a nice mellow curl will emerge instead of wild hair.

it must be long. you may want to try to cut it a little shorter or in to layers. because the longer the hair is unless it is very thick it will look ratty.

I had the same problem, til I used detangler. The cheap stuff that you could get at the dollar store works well. Also, put it in a single braid before you go to bed (if it's long enough) and that will help minimize knots in the mornings.

Use a good shampoo and conditioner and if by chance you've been swimming a lot this summer, you may have a chlorine build up on your hair. Hair gets very "tangly" with chlorine. There are many products on the market to strip the chlorine - look for a swimmers shampoo. It's also good to use to remove product build-up (like gels and hair spray). Just be sure to use a good conditioner afterwards because it may leave it a little dry, but it will be much more managable.
