How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I use loreal hotstraight before i blow dry my hair when its dried I straighten it and brush it.

I then walk to school and my friend goes ur hair is messed up and i look in the mirror and its all curly at the ends my hair is naturally straightish but i like it dead straight!!

I Would like either some good idea's such as what shampoo/conditioner or straighterning cream or how to straightern it well or blow dry it well.

Thanks so much

Much luff xx

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Let your hair dry on its own. Then use a ghd straightener.. (its fantastic) then use hairspray.. You might want to spray a heat protector cream on your hair before you straighten it to protect.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

http://www.aveda.com use their hair straightening cream

also use a heat protection before straightening it.

also use their damage remedy conditioner (only use it once a week) but this will help a lot.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I have the same problem and i use frizz ease by john freda. have had no problems since!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Well, you could use a straighting iron but you could use shampoo. Like you can use an aveda hang hang straight stuff. Then brush it and blow dry it. Good Luck!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

buy some styling gel and put it in your hair before you straighten it. Tony and guy have some good styling gels and so does schwarkopf (not sure how you spell it sorry)

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

If you have really curly hair (naturally), it'll be hard for the look to last all day. I suggest using a haircare line exclussively for making your hair straight...Loreal, Herbal Essences and Panteene all make these ones. You might also want to mist your hair with a finishing spray to keep your hair under control.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Umm, well use a straight shampoo-any that says for straight hair. Then, I use herbal essences straightening spray before i blodry and while i straighten-then i straighten my hair wiht a wet-2-straight on level 30 on blow-dried hair and it works well. Then, i use a leave-in conditioner so i wont get fly-aways or humidity.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

try hairspray after you straighten it otherwise the hairspray takes effect before your hair is actually straight. and i have found that any john frieda products work wonders so try the frizz ones!!!!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I cannot recommend more the use of GHD hairstylers they are from my birthplace of Keighley in England and are exceptional most top stylists use and recommend them. go to www.ghdhair.com for tips and product information. I 100% RECOMMEND THESE. they are not available in the US to my knowledge, but shipping can be arranged

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Try GHD straightners or do straightening perming they use the same chemicals but insted of curling they can straighten (some hairdressers do this but not all as it is not as popular).

When blow drying make sure you blow downwards as if blown up it will fizz or curl.

Good luck

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I have kind of oily hair. So I wash it twice with Thermasilk shampoo (the volumizing kind, not the moisturizing kind), skip the conditioner and all products, and straighten it (I have a Conair, it's red and black and kind of curved so you can flip your hair if you want to, not sure what model it is or anything) while it's still wet. It stays straight really well. However, if you dye your hair (I don't), have dry hair (I don't), or something, I might not recommend it.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Conditioning twice a week is the key.

Also use heat protector gel or cream.

Anti frizz would help too.

Dont blow dry too often or u'll ruin ur hair.

Also let it dry naturally till almost dry. then blow dry keeping away from hair, not too near and not on too hot.

Use natural/herbal remedies like egg for conditioning or henna if u want.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

you just have to always flat iron it. that should keep it straight.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

it depends on how curly ur hair is really, mines very curly i use a little hair serum when its wet, blow dry it then i straighten it but my hair straighteners heat to 230 tho which is not good for your hair but it makes it really straight, even if its raining tho or my hair gets slightly damp it will curl so try and avoid it getting wet, nothing will stop it curling in the rain! 200 degrees straighteners should be enough for your hair.

Or try experimenting with putting ur hair up for when you know the weathers guna be miserable ok. i use avon shampoo conditioner straight and sleek.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

boots do a straightening kit,, i used it and thought it was fantastic. i cant remember what it was called but it cost 鎷?5 and its in a pink box. it lasts for about 2-3 months and i thought it was worth every penny :)

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

i had the same problem until i got some new straightners from argos, they were 50 quid and go up to 230 degrees they kept my hair dead straight even when i went out in the wind to test them!!! i also used sunsilk straightenin cream and the loreal studioline straightenin cream both are brilliant

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

use a straightener

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

one answer:

GHD stylingh irons!

they are great i have had mine for a year and i use them everyday!

and i'll never look back!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

If you have enough pocket money saved, get yourself some GHD straightning tongs 鎷?30 - Very expensive - but worth every penny, they straighten any type of hair without failure.

Unfortunatly the only way to keep your hair straight is not to get it wet - John frieda straigthening serum is excellent with the straightning tongs.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

straightinat

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I have tried many straighteners and i believe ghd's are the only ones which work! Ghd also do a really good straightening serum but it is quite expensive!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Invest in some ghd hair straighteners, I used to have the same problem as you and then bought some ghd's from http://www.salonlines.co.uk/hair-straigh... - they really do solve the problem, now my hair stays really straight all day.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I recommend using a salon brand shampoo that makes your hair nice and strong and soft such as TIGI Honey %26amp; Oatmeal or if your budget won't reach to that then something like Lee Stafford Poker Straight shampoo and conditioners (available in Boots) then roughly blow dry hair until it is about half dry, apply a protein spray or a heat protection spray and blow dry straight in sections using a round barrell brush. Then use GHD's to straighten the hair in small sections after you have dried it - if you use cheaper straighteners this might be where you problem is coming from. I have had the same issues in the past but since using GHD's my hair stays straight after styling - the only exception being if I get caught in the rain! After straightening apply an anti-frizz serum such as John Frieda Frizz-Eaze or Tommy Gunns serum (which is really nice and available at Boots) you can also spray a light mist of hairspray at this point to try and hold the style for longer.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

In my opinion straightening creams really dont work. I had a bunch of expensive ones and i chucked them all im the bin. Buy a decent pairof straighteners like GHDs or Babyliss Pro 230

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

my hair is real thick and bushy i use straighteners i go three to four days ithout washing it but nothing helps a soon as a brush touches it it goes wild can someone please tell me how to make it lay down and look right i dont know what to do...

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

For Emily --- No, it's not "nasty" that she goes that long without washing her hair. Obviously, her hair is not naturally very oily, which allows her hair to remain clean for longer periods of time than yours.

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

Have you had it professionally thinned at a salon?

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

hey ummmm, first of all... that is really nasty that u go 4 days without washing your hair. second of all, get a better straightener!

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

Did you try like mousse or something??

I used to have that till i got a perm. It actually works. Mine stayed in for about 3 months till i said screw it. Wait my hair is naturally straight. I feel for you. Yeah, go with the perm.

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

Clarifying shampoo, get all the gunk off. Washing your hair with this stuff calms it down a lot. Are you doing too much to your hair? That will stress it out. Proper diet and nutrition and a hairdresser that really understands your type of hair.

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

Use a bunch of frizz control products! That always helps with my thick bushy hair!

HOPE THIS HELPED!!!!!!!!

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

get a layered cut. search for pictures online. www.lhj.com has some good pics. wash it with a smoothing or moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. use leave-in conditioner. never use heat on your hair. use olive oil or coconut oil and run it through your hair once it's dry. to get rid of frizz, use frizz serum. while you are waiting for your hair to absorb the oil, pull it back.

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

I don't think that anyone likes their hair and yours is a common question. I don't know what the annoying part is, but I can help with the thick part. Try having your hair layered. You won't believe how much lighter it will feel, and you will get lots of natural movement in a head of hair that simply hung there. If you have natural curl, its even better. Also you could try go to a hair salon and ask them to thin out your hair for you.

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

I have the same problem.

I'm thinking abotu getting my hair naturally strightened using the Bio-Ionic Straightening System.

I googled it, and there are great results.

It lasts for about a year, and I had a friend had it done.

Her hair is down to her lower back and is thick and curly, and it still looks fantastic.

It dries straight too.

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

I know what you are talking about...

First try getting your hair trimmed. Get all the dead ends off, and have the stylist thin it from underneath as well.

Then, invest in a really REALLY good straightener. I used to have a regular straightener that I bought at Target. But it didn't really help. My mom bought me a CHI straightener and it has worked wonders for my hair. Even when I'm out in humidity it stays straight.... And my hair used to go crazy in humidity. The CHI really is worth every bit of money that you pay for it. It cost me around $150 3 years ago, but they may have gotten less expensive since then. And, well, it's lasted me 3 years so far.

The tools make ALL the difference in the world! If you get a good straightener, then you won't need any hair products that make it all greasy and whatnot. Go to a beauty supply store like Sally Beauty Suplies and ask them what straightener they recomend. I of course recomend the CHI. It has changed my life. I actually love my hair now!

Thick bushy hair!!!! help?

First of all...whoever said it's nasty to go 4 days without washing your hair, no it's not. Don't listen to them. My hair works much better if I only wash it about twice a week, and doesn't get nearly as dry.

Second, is your hair naturally curly, or just thick? If it is truly bushy, it probably has some natural curl. Instead of straightening it, why not try to work with it. Don't try to brush it when it's dry. Wet it, comb out the tangles with a wide toothed comb, run some gel or cream through it (I use Noodle Head by Beyond the Zone...you can get it Sally's, but only use it the first day after you've washed your hair...after that, use something lighter, like Herbal Essences Totally Twisted curling gel), turn your head upside down and scratch your fingers through it to separate the curls, and then use a diffuser to dry it.

I would also recommend having it cut by a professional that is used to dealing with thick, bushy hair. Layers help mine, but they have to be gradual layers...defined layers will make it stick out even more.

Can people with straight hair get 360 waves?

Can I get 360 waves if my hair is straight. Because I would really like to start trying to get them but I want to make sure I'm not doing it for nothing. And people say the best hair cut to compliment 360 waves is a low-cut caeser and a razor line. Also what type of brush should I have because my hair is like soft. And what is all the products need to maintain 360 waves like stocking cap etc.

Can people with straight hair get 360 waves?

Can people with straight hair get 360 waves?

Can people with straight hair get 360 waves?

if you want permanent wave, ask at the salon for a 360 body wave, it will last permanently until your hair grows out. also, use a natural boar bristle brush, there the best you can get for your hair. there kinda expensive but worth it! hope this helps

Can people with straight hair get 360 waves?

http://www.how2getwaves.com helps a lot of people get 360 waves.

Hair question for peole wh know hair?

I know u lose like 100 strands or less a day is it normal from not losing alot of hair for like a week that it could have just stayed at the ends waiting for u to brush it out because out of the whole week today i lost the most and wasn't from the root just the ends because i haven't brushed till today and i have very long hair down my back so is that normal

Hair question for peole wh know hair?

Yes, this is totally normal. If hair loss is caused by the telogen phase (this is the last phase of the growth cycle of each individual hair, and it lasts about 3-6 months culminating in the loss of the hair) and not systemic or chemical causes, the fact that your hair is so long easily masks your loss when you don't brush your hair for a while. When this hair is lost, it will fall out from the root, work its way down the hair shaft, and end up in your shower/hairbrush/floor/etc. Since your hair is very long and you haven't brushed it in a while, be sure to use a wide-tooth comb and be gentle to prevent excess damage. Hope this helps!

Hair question for peole wh know hair?

yea the same thing happens to me! i think is normal

Hair question for peole wh know hair?

Yes it is completely normal.

And, I don't want to make people sound like dogs...but.

in a way, we shed too.

When they get excited or during certain times of the season, they have blow outs...where they shed more often than normal.

We do this sometimes too. Weather, stress, how often we wash hair, how often and much we use products, diet and sleep can all effect your hair.

Maybe try to keep track of what you did a couple days before a noticable hair loss.

You might find a reason.

Hair question for peole wh know hair?

Yes it is normal. When Me and my husband first moved in together before we were married LOL he said honey there has been a lot of hair in the bathroom. Really long hair so I know its your. Is there a problem with you why are you pulling your hair out. LOLOL I laughed so hard. I was like honey women shed hair everyday and since my hair is long it look like more than it is. He thought I was pulling my hair out. LOLOL. Men.

Hair question for peole wh know hair?

normal happens to me too

Recently my hair is having lots of splits ends and it seems like it's brun?

what can cause that to happen? is it because of the new type of shampoo conditioner, high level blow dry, or wrong type of brushes use? btw my hair is very thin and long and the splits ends is starting from the top. I just got a cut, but it doesn't help that much.

Recently my hair is having lots of splits ends and it seems like it's brun?

You might want to have some layers cut in your hair. It could be the thinness and the length that is causing it to break off. Blow drying can break your hair. You should use it on a low setting if even at all. I'd recommend hot oil treatments like VO5 and Redken shampoo and smoothing conditioner. You can use Garnier Fructis smoothing serum to keep those flyaway hairs down.

Recently my hair is having lots of splits ends and it seems like it's brun?

dont use conditioners. put oil on your hairs weekly and see what happens

Recently my hair is having lots of splits ends and it seems like it's brun?

ok first let gets started with shampoo and conditioner Iwould suggest biolage for both its very moisturizing and great for damaged hair and u must deep condition your hair once a week. also only use a comb when your hair is went using a brush causes spilt ends. and when you are blowdrying your hair usea protecting serum with silicons or petroleum products in it ps biolage is a tad bit expensive but its well worth it u can get a bottle at a hairsalon for aboutt 25 dollers for both soo good luck

Recently my hair is having lots of splits ends and it seems like it's brun?

go to the hair dresses and get your split ends cut off if you want ask them to make your her look healthy and then its the making it healthy use Palmolive naturals shampoo and conditioner it really helps if not ask the hair dresses what to do.............

I have a hair question; I'm not very "style savvy"; need advice...?

I have naturally wavy hair that after washing it, curls up quite nicely. I've been told by hairstylists when I go for a haircut or whatever, that I can keep these curls by not brushing them out and just putting curl activator or gel/mousse in and scrunching it. Well I purchased a curl activating spray from the salon and tried using it today; it worked ok but my hair still looked "unbrushed." It looked like I'd just gotten out of bed. How can I have my hair looking nice if I can't brush it?? I want to keep the curls, but if I brush it out, they just flatten out. Advice please?!

I have a hair question; I'm not very "style savvy"; need advice...?

Take it from someone with thick curly hair - buy a really wide tooth comb and comb it out while it's still wet. Put the gel in and then comb through it again.

Don't use a brush - it ~will~ take out the wave/curl.

Good luck!!

I have a hair question; I'm not very "style savvy"; need advice...?

when your hair is wet, put the activator in and then twist your hair around your finger...like you are making ringlets and that may help "smooth" the look

I have a hair question; I'm not very "style savvy"; need advice...?

I'VE GOT A PERM LIKE THAT NOW AND LOVE IT. JUST BRUSH AND COMB YOUR HAIR IN THE MORNING AND THEN MIST IT WITH WATER AND SCRUNCH IT. GOOD LUCK TO YOU. YOU CAN ALWAYS FINGER COMB IF YOU WANT TO. I JUST LIKE TO FLUFF MINE SINCE I HAVE THIN HAIR.

I have a hair question; I'm not very "style savvy"; need advice...?

I have very curly hair. Never brush it. You will brush your curl right out %26amp; have a frizz ball. Wash your hair with a shampoo that encourages curl. Moisturize well. Then Using a curling mousse gently scrunch it into your hair concentraing on the ends...let air dry or use a hairdryer with a diffuser. I like to use a small amount of gel in the front of my hair just because I can get really frizzy. a good Mousse to try is Dove or anything for curls.

Also check out Ouida.com if you want more info for curly girls...

Hair problem!!!!?

i got my hair cut about 5 days ago....I got it layered and thinned out with a side fringe, when it was finished it looked amzing but since then i have washed my hair and blow dryed it using a round brush the way the pros do(but im no whre near that good)i even washed it with sunsilk silky and straight which helps to straigten your hair . but no matter how hard i try the fringe WONT work...my hair keeps frizzing and its going all wavy in a messy way!!!!i brush it and it still looks wierd....i dont use a straigtner and doubt that i will but can anyone give some advice?!!?!?!?!

Hair problem!!!!?

firstly blow dry your hair along the direction of growth otherwise ur hair sticks up.

then, get a hair brush and spray a little hair spray on it and brush it through your fringe. keep putting a little bit on at a time until ur hair isnt frizzy.

another thing to try is one of those spray water gels, because the mist is very fine, it doesnt jst stick to your hair and make it look like crap.

if you over condition your hair it makes it proper frizzy, so next time u condition, use the tiniest blob u can, like..the size of a pound, and apply it to the ends of ur hair only, stay away from your fringe. that way ur hair will be knot free where it needs to be, and not frizzy at ur fringe..

Hair problem!!!!?

Ask the salon what it is that they use on your hair. You know your hair best and what works for you and what now:)

Hair problem!!!!?

Sounds to me like you're having a "hair day"...

Honestly, try Pantene

Hair problem!!!!?

you have to use a leave-in product that will reduce the frizzies...you can easily find these products called hair serum which will reduce any moisture when setting your hair with the dryer. give yourself a chance, I know it takes a while to re-create the style at home

Hair problem!!!!?

just straighten your fringe. you dont have to use GHDs, you can get them for a tenner in chemists

Hair problem!!!!?

As said above ask what they used , or have your hair styled 3 times a week.. Big bonus tell your stylist what you want wash and go or i got time .

Hair problem!!!!?

Most hairdressers are willing to show you how to maintain the style they gave you.

Hair problem!!!!?

Try some of the hair smoothing products that are out on the market. I use allot of Charles Worthington products. They have everything from shampoo to hairspray.

Also be sure not to over-dry or brush your hair too much both of these can cause hair to frizz. When you try to make your hair fringed on the side work with your fingers and use a little hair gel or hairspray. It will take some work to get used to styling it but hey it is worth the effort!

Main thing is don't get discouraged and keep trying!

BTW when I was working in a salon if a client came to me and said "How did you do this??" I would wash their hair and take them through it so that they could see it again . Try calling your stylist and if that doesn't work there is no law against asking to watch other stylists in any salon style someones hair.

Good luck hun I hope this helps you out some.

Hair problem!!!!?

There are dozens of anti frizz products out there. The trouble with getting your hair done in a salon is they load your hair down with so many products; even if you have had a bad cut, it can be disguised with mousse, serum, straightening spray, etc.

John Freida anti frizz serum is very good.

So are the Aussie products.

Look for a range of products made especially for keeping hair sleek.

I have hair now in one length, just to the nape of my neck; but in my haircut brfore the last one, I asked for layering and a side fringe, I went back to the salon and they advised something like a GHD, which I wasn't really keen on either.

In the end , I gave up on making the fringe stay in place; so i moussed it when I washed, and blow dried it slightly back from my forehead, making it look as if it was part of my hair rather than just a fringe, and I liked the effect so much, I kept it.!

I think it would do no harm to talk to them in the salon anyway; they want their customer to be happy, and might offer you some sort of treat for your hair.

Hair problem!!!!?

OK: wash your hair, but don't put any conditioner on.

Instead, make a concoction from a little olive oil (sesame, jojoba, evening primrose would be great, but any old oil will do, as long as you haven't actually fried anything in it previously), a whole egg and some honey.

Slap it on, leave for as long as you can.

Wash off, condition as usual.

Add some CIDER vinegar into a bottle of lukewarm water, give it a shake, then use it as the last rinse.

Dry your hair, don't rub towel all over it, just pat it (otherwise you end up braking the ends, and such).

Now, when using a hair-drier, gently PULL the hair strands in a direction you want it to go. Hold a moment or two, then move on.

The whole point of putting on a hair-mask is to let your hair recover from the cut id received recently.

The style-tips are all about telling your hair what you want it to do, retraining it, if you like.

Try it, this should work.

Hair problem!!!!?

Ask the salon what they used on your hair.....or try using a straightner!

Hair problem!!!!?

GHD hair straightners they are actually amazing......nofrizz and sleek straight hair they are the best straightners out there.also try toni n guy sleek n str8 serum.. apply 2 dry hairx

Hair problem!!!!?

you have to straighten the fringe with a ceramic straightner. if i didnt use one i would just have a fuzzy kink where my fringe is but i straighten it every morning and its sleek.

Hair problem!!!!?

I think going back to the salon would be a good idea get them to blowave your hair while there blowaving ask them to give you some tips on the parts your having trouble with and also buy what ever it is they use in your hair, also try buying the de lorenzo leave in conditioner its real good and helps with broken hair from frizzing.

good luck

Hair problem!!!!?

Firstly sunsilk contains silicone which doesnt smooth or straighten your hair so that is probably the initial problem.

I'd recommend a range called Strait Line by L'anza, they have a good shampoo, conditioner, smoother and heat defence.

What you've got to remember is you're hair will never look as good as the salon blowdry. Don't try to copy what you have seen your stylist do.

If you have a side fringe, use the hairdryer nozzle to really blast it down straight, without a brush. This sets it to sit at a side angle later on. Use your fingers to pull the hair down.

If your fringe is longer (easier to manage) then you can use a paddle brush underneath it to reduce frizz.

You must remember fringes only look smooth and sleek with good products, a good hairdryer and straighters.

I'd recommend L'anza Anti Ageing serum for smoothness. I use it and it is 鎷?9 a bottle but lasts for AGES!

Alternatively try Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell.

I hope this helps.

Hair problem!!!!?

Ok, if they used straigteners at the salon thats why it looked soo good, so invest in some straighteners and you're hair would probably go perfect!!!

Hair problem!!!!?

use straighteners, but make sure you use a heat defence spray first otherwise you'll ruin your hair, good luck!

Hair problem!!!!?

Spray a little hairspray on your round brush and blowdry as normal, pulling your fringe down, not out. It should hold your fringe in place and discourage frizz : )
